The lunchbox itself was great.The inside compartment however was said to be machine washable but it has cracked heavily. And the warranty is already over for me.The outside part is still fine because I've always handwashed it. If only it had said to handwashed both part, it would be fine.EDIT: Given four stars from two. I was speedily sent a replacement of the inside compartment and now clean the entire box by hand. Great service! The lunchbox is a good product.

Chalk writing gimmick is a no-go
Great concept, terrible execution. I returned this product after two uses. Day one, I prepare lunch the night before and put it in the refrigerator. What happens when you take things out of the refrigerator? Condensation. Because of the moisture, the cute reminder I wrote came right off. Day two and I make lunch in the morning. Despite no presence of moisture, all of the chalk marker wipes right off inside my son's book bag before I even finished zipping it up. Yes, the chalk was already dry.For full transparency, the hardiness of the box seemed just fine. Also something I didn't think about it till I had it in my hands either is that it has no handle. If it didn't try and present itself with this chalk writing gimmick, there would have been no issue.

Cool but big and heavy
This thing is really huge so it wouldn't fit in just any lunch bag but even if it did, it is also verrry heavy! so I wouldn't have packed this for my daughter for school anyway. However, it is lovely, sturdy and very cool. My daughter loves it and loves to eat all her meals in it... but at home.

Works great! Nothing has leaked, and the compartments are large enough to fit my daughter's lunch in there no problem. The chalkboard surface works great for me.The only issue I've had is actually finding a lunch bag large enough to fit this in. I still wouldn't trade it in for something smaller though.

Love it!
Bought this for my son's lunch. He loves it. He's just turning 3, so motor skills are still developing, but the latches are large enough for him to manipulate. He is so proud of himself. The "chalkboard" top is great too! I can draw pictures for him, or leave notes. It seems to be made of high quality materials.

We love this lunch box
We love this lunch box. It is a large size that is good for growing kids and adults. It has made it through half of the school year and still looks great. We don't pack super liquid type things, but it has kept a small amount of juice from cut fruit off the other items. We would certainly purchase this item again!

Leaked. Latch broke.
I put a thick vegetable dip in it. I trusted the top review that said yogurt did not leak, but when my kid got to school there was dip all over the lunch, and also it made a mess inside the backpack. I do like that it holds a full sandwich, and the two other compartments are quite spacious. The latches are easy to open and it is pretty easy to clean (as easy as cleaning peanut butter off of anything is.)UPDATE October 2016-- One latch broke off. We have been avoiding dips in the lunchbox, and laying it flat in the backpack, which has been working. Now with the broken latch I'm returning it. I expect it to go smoothly because of the seller's 1-year satisfaction guarantee.UPDATE November 2016 -- No response from seller feedback. I cannot find another way to contact the seller. Return policy was guaranteed, no questions asked, for 1 year. I have a broken "leakproof" lunchbox that leaks, which I bought 3 months ago. Please, Quick Gourmet, I am a patient person. I understand people are busy. How else can I contact you, or send the lunchbox back, or anything!

Fun Bento Box
Fantastic fun bento box for the kids or the kid in you. outside of the box can be personalized with the included chalk board marker. Inside tray is pretty and different than others with the design on the removable tray.
