Not a bag bag, but Unigear bag better
This is by no means a bad bag, but I tried this and the Unigear Shoulder Chest Crossbody Sling Bag Pack Backpack (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01EN8RNKE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1), and I ultimately preferred the Unigear bag, for several reasons.- On the HBAG, there's a tiny front pocket; it won't work for much beyond keys. It's too small for an iPhone, for instance. On the Unigear bag, there's a meaningful front pocket, and a smartphone case built into the strap.- The Unigear bag seems slightly sturdier and more waterproof, and also slightly more ergonomic. The Unigear bag also has a D-ring in case you want to add a waist strap.- The Unigear back has a small pen organizer in its small compartment; this doesn't.- I liked the fact that this bag has some MOLLE webbing and a short trap to compress the bag, but neither of these are essential. This one has a trifle bigger capacity, but both bags fit what I expect to carry when travelling. The bigger capacity may be relevant to students who are lugging a lot of textbooks.

Great bag aside from the useless front clip strap
A pretty good medium sized bag. It holds a good amount of stuff including books and binders, while not being so big that it says and your things get lost in it. There are a lot of different sized pockets for organizing your things. The single shoulder strap is comfortable and makes it easy to just grab it and go. The price was pretty good for how sturdy it is. Shipping was quick and I really like the style and colors. The only thing about the bag that really bothered me is the gray strap and clip on the front of the bag. It doesn't seem to serve any other purpose other than being cosmetic. You have to unclip it to unzip the middle pocket which, can be quite tedious if you just want to grab something quickly. Leaving it unclipped is an option but it looks tacky that way and may get caught on things. Overall I'm happy with the bag. I take it to work on a daily basis and aside for the useless strap it has served me well.

Works great
Love it! Been using it for a couple weeks, and it's just was I was looking for. I have room for some papers, my purse, a water bottle, and one (large) college textbook. It's definitely not a full sized backpack for a whole set of textbooks, etc. but it does what I need. It is comfortable and seems quite durable.Though other reviewers have commented on the zipper, I haven't found any issues with it. The strap the buckles over the zipper is a little obnoxious because you have to unbuckle it to open the zipper, but I just leave it unbuckled all the time anyway. Also, the water bottle holder on the side is a little narrow, but it will easily fit a bottle up to 3" in diameter (not larger quart-sized bottles though).

GREAT PURCHASE
From first sight, I am absolutely impressed with this bag. I ordered this for my husband to take on our Trip to Paris so that he can back his IPad, plugs (basically all his man mess) and still fit under the seat in front of him. I love the fact that the water bottle mesh has a strap so that you can ensure that your water won't fall out and the compartment for the phone, is a great size for the IPhone with an Otterbox. It appears to be well made and I can't wait to see how it will look carrying his stuff. I think I did a great job.

Durable, Sturdy, But Small
Well made, zipper locks up from time to time, the cloth fray tied to the end of one of the zippers fell off after a few months, other than that there's nothing wrong with this backpack. It is on the small side though, will NOT completely close with a big cloth covered binder (5 stars binder, trapper keepers, etc.) Can not fit a basketball, can barely fit a trapper keeper, can not fit a big binder and a book, can not fit a trapper keeper and a book. Great for when you know you will be carrying small-medium sized things. Not recommended for High School or Middle School.

Highly recommend this bag.
My biggest concern when purchasing this bag was the size. My son has 8 classes. Each with a hardback book and workbook. He is also required to have a 3" binder. The binder does not fit in the bag. However his books and workbooks do. Not all of them but at least the four classes he has on a given day. Also being a 13 year old boy he is rough on bags. So far this one has held up nicely. I usually have to replace his bookbags several times per year.I was beyond please with this purchase. For the price the bag is beyond worth it. Highly recommend purchasing.

Good packback
Bought this for my son in 4th grade. He has a disability that leaves his left side weak. It’s easier for him to use a one strap pack. He really likes it. I just wish it was a bit wider. We have to really push his books to the side to get it zipped. Other than that, it works great.
