Great minimalist EDC light
This feather weight EDC light does not replace my FOURSEVENS Quark Pro, but rather supplements my EDC lineup with the versatility of low weight and low bulk. It's not a tacticool light. It will not outshine other bigger lights. What it will do is totally disappear in your pocket/waistline. The machined aluminum body is high quality. The tail switch is perfect, like a smaller Quark it is easy to use. Also nice is the fact that you can switch modes. Mine will always stay on high/low, and these mode alternate with each push of the tail switch. This is easily the smallest, lightest light I own, and it fits neatly into a continuum of lighting options. I'm really glad I down-lighted. People are always looking for bigger and better. Bigger is not always better. For comparison's sake here are my EDC parings at their most extreme: Preon 1 + Benchmade Mini Griptillian (2.91" blade) vs. Quark Pro + Cold Steel Hold Out I (6" blade).

but I like the older model better
My opinion, but I like the older model better. You had the option of adding the small split ring or the pocket clip.

Very bright but terrible button
the light is very bright for its size and is made well, but... dont buy is you plan on carrying in your pocket. The button on the back will turn the light on with the slightest touch. seems light a huge oversight considering they would know people are buying it to carry in the pocket.

I bought these b/c of its size. It is a very compact AAA flashlight. The button did get depressed in my pocket couple times and the light got very hot, so you want to make sure to twist the head loose before pocketing it. Also, I feel this flashlight a bit pricey compared to the other lights you can find with similar output.

Worth it.
None of the extra features that I expected from my previous Preon 1 and Preon 2 but ot works great for my edc. Two modes low and high. My only downside would be the clip is a little mediocre compared to other models so im going to turn it into a lanyard hole

I like it, but the button is probably the most ...
It's ok, but the button is probably the most important part and it's still not as good as other lights in my opinion. Feels cheap, and a memory mode does not lend itself to a light with momentary activation. This really just makes it impossible to know what mode will come on, which defeats the purpose of a low output in my mind.

So close, yet so far.
Contrary to what other reviews I've read, this light does have a nice clicky. The form factor is perfect, the performance and build quality is not.I expected more from this 40 dollar flashlight. The tube color does not match the head and tail color, and the light has a green hue that is very noticeable. (Pictures attached)The comparison image is the BLF-348 in neutral white compared to the Preon P1 (green output).
