My husband found these to help an infection that I couldnt get it healed I put one on those silver calicum folded on to the wound and a tegadarn, which will always uSe with this or Anytime of long healing wounds. Love this natural stuff...

These have the high absorbency brown material which most of the others do not. They are also usable to be trimmed to fit without wasting a bunch.

I have been in wound care for 2 years and have used various products to help draw the fluids from my edema away from the open words. JJ Care's silver calcium alginate is one of the best. It draws more of the moisture away and doesn't turn to much like some other brands. My specialist a different brand and was very surprised at how much cleaner my wounds looked. The only drawback is that sometimes fibers can stick to the wound. It's very little but you should be aware to look for them. I highly recommend this product.

My adult, special needs, adult daughter had to spend 4 months in the hospital last year.She started having problems with skin rashes all over her body. Any where there was heat and moisture,she would break out in a hot blistery rash. This has been an on going problem and nothing has helped much be sides Calcium Alginate with Silver and medical honey.
