This digger would get 5 stars if it were not for the horrible serrated edge that snags on the sheath every single time you go to put it away. It is not like the jagged edge helps in any way whatsoever so I don't know why it is even there. Other than that I like it just fine.

Incredibly disappointed with this product. The Sheath didn't last a week before coming apart at the seams. The material is much too thin and the serrated edge tore it apart. No big deal, I bought a leather one. But then the unthinkable happened while poking around in a hole, the blade snapped in half. Unbelievably it felt like it was made of brittle plastic and with so little effort, I was shocked to hear it go. If you look at the picture, you'll see that it has little to no use and still has the "mill glaze". It's seen 10 outings since I bought it in Oct. (Kellyco) and is only used after the plug is out. Really poor quality control here. Very disappointing for a new tool. Quest never returned my e-mail. My advice: look elsewhere, don't bother... I just bought the Whites and still own a Garrett, this one is junk (at least mine was).

Solid. Great for probing in clay soil.
