it worked but not the best quality
I installed as under padding for hydroturf on one bench seat on my boat. the size i got was 12 inch wide, but it was cut pretty rough on the edges. it has a sticky back film, but definitely not 3M quality. I took time to sand and clean to prep the surface before putting down, it stuck, but i could tell not the best. after putting the hydrutuf on top which has real 3M backing it looked fine. the next day after it had sat in the sun the padding had bubbles in it. I had to take a small knife to let all the air that came out of it, after that it was fine, but I don't trust it to last as long as it should. I will try this product again, but I will most likely use contact cement in conjunction with the sticky backing to ensure I get a good bond.
