Perfect Deal, Excellent Quality
Now THIS was a great deal! The Slow Feeder is amazing and perfect for my dog, who basically inhales all his food. It's definitely slowed him down - he spends more time navigating between the bumps and takes smaller bites at a time. I also LOVE the fact it is silicone - makes it much easier to wash and safer for my dog. I am not a fan of plastic feeders because not only can they potentially poke/hurt your dog's nose and eyes, but they seem far too tight. I support the idea of slowing down your dog's eating with specialized dishes like this, but most of the plastic dishes just seem too hard at an unnecessarily complex level. Unless you have a big dog whose breed is super prone to bloat and is an aggressive eater who will rip through anything, I'd suggest this one above all the rest. The travel bowl is amazing quality too! It's a good size and sturdy and does not bend with it's filled with water. While it doesn't come with a carabiner or keyring, those can be easily picked up at a dollar store so don't sweat that.Overall, I highly recommend this to pet parents. It's a great deal and worth every penny.

I ordered the large and its smaller than I expected but I still think it would be fine for small/med to med/large dogs
Wow this thing really worked for my pup... The only reason it got 4 stars instead of 5 is because I paid extra for 2 day shipping and it arrived late. But the product itself... I just tried it with my dog for the first time. He's a 5 month pitt puppy, and he gobbles his food so fast that his bowl is usually empty by the time I put the bag of dog food away (Im talking 10 seconds tops). Well this thing just stretched out his meal time to a solid 7 minutes! And the "grass blades" seem very soft and flexible. I was a little worried he might hurt himself, but I see very little possibility for injuries. I ordered the large and its smaller than I expected but I still think it would be fine for small/med to med/large dogs. Very happy with the product so far.

Doesn't really slow down our dog that much and holds only about 1 Cup of kibble
This concept is great but it doesn't really slow down our dog that much. He is a 30 lb 6 mo. old food freak who gobbles his kibble down without chewing. This obviously slows him down more than a regular open bowl, but I thought it would be more effective. Our pup eats 2 cups right now of his puppy food, and we have to split it into two feedings. About 1 cup of kibble fits on here before it starts spilling onto the floor. So, we have to do 2 feedings back to back, which yes, slows him down a bit, but kind of a pain when you want to feed and walk away for a while (He comes to find us right after we feed him anyway to say "thank you". :))

Feeders work for our pooches :-)
So far I love these! I have two older dogs who were wolfing down their food. This terrible habit gave one of the dogs terrible indigestion to the point where he was puking and eating grass daily after eating and we were having to give him antacids. We have been using these dishes for one week and not once has he puked, had to go eat grass, nor have we had to give him antacids. :-) So, what used to take my dogs 30 seconds-1 minute to eat now takes 5-7 minutes. My ONLY gripe with them is they are VERY flimsy material. Having two dogs and trying to feed them at the same time with a flimsy feeder in each hand is quite a balancing act.

It helps ... a little
One of our two dogs eats about 5 times faster than the other one and we haven't been able to find a way to slow her down. We decided to give this dish a try. It's a generous size (we feed about a cup and half of kibble per feeding) but I wish it was shaped more like a bowl rather than like a plate. That would help keep the food in it. It would also be a bit easier to handle if it was rigid rather than flexible. The first time we our dog in this dish, she slowed down considerably and we were thrilled. Since then she's figured out how to be able to get the food more quickly, though it's still slower than using a regular bowl.

Great Dane Certified!
We have a Great Dane who gobbles anything edible within seconds and generally WHOLE! :) Often he would eat so fast that he would vomit his still unchewed food. Sounds yummy right... We tried raised bowls, mixing his food with water etc... to no avail. Sinceour boy began using this feeder no more whole kibble vomit, YEAH! I will admit I did get some evil stares from our dog the first few days of use; as he immediately realized it's function was to make his feeding time more work. He even walked away the first time waiting to surrender for a few stubborn hours. LOL! He has submitted peacefully since.

Just not sure...
I got two of these for a six year old and a five month old Goldendoodle. They both wolf down their food way too fast. Well, these didn't slow them down all that much. The older dog didn't want to eat from it at first, but the puppy didn't mind. I just don't know if they are helping much or not.The collapsible bowls are a very cool bonus! Very handy to take when traveling for water. I appreciate them being part of the deal. This product would be worth a try, if you think it may slow your dog's eating. Bloat is a real problem, with scary consequences. I do not regret my purchase.

Love this product
Love this product. I have a chiwi-dachshund mix who is tiny and inhales his food from regular bowls. Tried the plastic slow feeder bowls, one with the lego-like "posts" and one with the swirl-maze design. The dog was too frustrated with the maze bowl and hit his face on the "lego" design. This feeder works great--slows down the dog, no more gulping and more chewing--and the flexible material separates the food but doesn't make the puppy have to hit his face against hard plastic to get to his food. Easy to clean. Just don't leave it out because puppies like it for a chew toy and can bite pieces of the rubber off if given the opportunity. Also use this with the bigger dog (Aussie mix, 40 lbs) and it works well.
