Hermit Habitat Terrarium Sand, 2-Pound, Green

Very bright and vivid green, looks great mixed with substrate. Does not do great in water, some of it will float.

We did not like this sand at all. We've purchased colored sand from this brand before but this green was awful for our hermmies. It was stuck all over them, in every crevice. It looked uncomfortable. It's pretty but that's about it. We keep the tank quite hummid so maybe it was the moisture?! We changed it out after a week. Maybe for a dry tank this sand might work. Also it was expensive considering the amount you get. Not going to buy this green again! I will buy the other types of sand they offer. I would not recommend this for a moist environment tank.

Do NOT put in your hermit crab cage! Its so sticky and sticks to everything! Its all over my crabs legs and shell and water sponge! And you can't wet the sand like it needs to be, it clumps up badly! I need to go out to the pet store asap to get new sand before this kind hurts my little friends!

Bag of sand busted before it got to me so it all spilled out in the bag. I can still pour it from there. But it made a huge mess.
