for rabbits! one of the other reviewers mentioned it but where its flawed for cats its perfect for rabbits! with cats, you're trying to lift out the poop while letting litter go through hole, with rabbits its the opposite. i was trying to push the poop down to clean later while saving the paper litter on top. the hole is just big enough to do that. Use with a deep litter pan. don't buy the shake and rake one as thats not deep enough. do search for "iris usa open litter box scoop, white" and theres two that come up. those are perfect. get wee wee pads and lay on bottom of litter pan and this on top of that and good to go! no more constant scooping and my rabbits have clean litter. just push poop down for a second for cleaning later.

I knew this wouldn't fit in my littler box - that's not why I bought it. I HATE scooping. Hate it. Really. I have a large bin that takes up most of my spare bathtub, and three cats, so scooping is never ending. I can put this in the bin on one side, quickly scoop everything on one side into it, shake it over that empty side, and then repeat on the other. It's SO much quicker than using the little shovel - scoop-shake-empty-scoop-shake-empty-repeat. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the holes are a little big and allow some of the smaller bits that break off the clumps back into the box. Those are usually right on top, though, once I've sifted, and easy to pick up with the hand scooper at the end. Not a deal breaker.

Well made. Great idea. But... If the litter box is slightly larger the cat goes in the space between the two. If it is a tight fit there is no space to shake it back down after the first cleaning. Maybe I did not get it right but after the first attempt it was removed and we are back to good old scooper.

A life changer. No need to find the clumps. Just get two boxes and pour one into the other through the screen box. Scoop off the clumps that stick and then pour it back into the second box. Cats hate dirty litter boxes, and this makes it easy to keep them fresh as a daisy.

I thought this was a great idea but I am throwing it out after a week. Worst idea ever! Every time I use the sifter I get cat litter everywhere. Huge mess!

super helpful in easily changing the cat litter, however it does not sift back down into the litter as shown easily. I still use it though, I just have 2 stackable cat boxes and pour one into the other while the sifter sits in the other box. Takes about half the time it would if I was scooping!

I have a litter box with a sifter and like it so much I bought this for a friend. He loves it too. The trick is to not leaveit in the box but pour from one box to another.
