I purchased this for my son who wanted to try piano. Bright and colorful illustrations, great explanations of how to learn, and lots of familiar tunes make this a great book!

It had British system note names, like crochet, minim, etc.! NOT what wanted! And no indication on the front of the book that it was the British System! I teach in the US and have never had this problem before. So, BUYER BEWARE!! We had already written in the piano and theory books when we discovered the problem, so I couldn't return them.

The media could not be loaded. Got this book for my 8 year old who just started learning how to play the piano. It’s a very good book as a starter. It explains things very well, it’s easy to follow the directions. My kiddo is enjoying learning by this book. The quality of the book is also great. The cover page is strong. All the pages are think. It also came with a disc, which we haven’t used yet. I think it’s a great first book for somebody, who wishes to learn to play the piano!

We love this for piano lessons because it teaches the fundamentals and is easy for kiddos to follow.
