Royal Family Japanese Rice Cake Mochi Daifuku (Red Bean), 7.4 Ounce (4)

Simply beyond belief good. Warning. If you have the will power of an earthworm do not buy these because it takes tremendous will power to not eat the whole package. They are that good and that is just the truth.

I was shipped a weird off brand one. That or the manufacturer has changed the recipe and box design. I was curious whether the packaging was just different so I tried one and they taste bland, the brand I was sent isn't as soft as the royal family brand I buy in town. The coloring was off for the red bean and the dough was not as tender as usual, the flavor was bland. the one I was sent tastes unsatisfactory. I am pretty frustrated since I was looking forward to this shipment initially.

The flavor was very underwhelming. The flavor reminded me of an extremely mild flavored fig newton filling. The texture of the white part was like a flavorless soft gummy bear. I can't say that it tasted good or bad, because there really wasn't much flavor at all. I should have tried another flavor variety. This product was made in Taiwan, not Japan. I received this product on October 10, 2018 and it had an expiration date of October 31, 2018.

When they switched manufactures on the mochi, their product currently being provided has red beans not fully cooked. I do not like them its like chewing raw beans. I will not be buying these anymore.

I have been eating moji rice cakes w/ red bean filling (monju) all my life and believe me, these are terrific! The rice cake consistency is perfect and the red bean filling is just OMG good. Will most definitely be ordering more!!!!

Package arrived on time. I must have had a fresh batch because these were nice and soft to the touch. I read other reviews where some where hard but mines where great. No complaints here. These hit the spot and for the price you can't beat that! It did taste raw or whatever the other commenter said. It's like it's not fully cooked and I know the difference between good mochi and this.

Buy fresh when you can. Though it didn't taste terrible, it did taste like plastic especially considering who know how long it sits in it's plastic tray packaging. Luckily there's an Asian supermarket in the area and they do sell daifuku so I will gladly go there instead. They are also on the smaller size, two bites and done. The filling does taste like beans and sugar put together and not wet/creamy looking like the package cover, definitely a dry bean paste.

This is not what was shipped to me. Another brand of red bean mochi was shipped instead of this. As someone with food allergies, this is a big deal.

As shown in the picture, the red bean paste ratio is misleading and inconsistent. The mochi in itself doesn't taste anything, as does the red bean paste. It just feels like eating a bland chewing gum with some flour on it. I tried to eat two of them but ended up spitting them in the garbage. Very disappointed!

Ob die Bohnenpaste gut ist, ist Geschmackssache aber mir hat sie auf jeden Fall gefallen, jedoch find ich den Preis dann doch dafür etwas überteuert. Aber mochis sind wollte ich schon immer mal probieren und ich kann jedem nur empfehlen die einmal gegessen zu haben

Seit langer zeit schaue ich schon Animes und so hat es auch nicht lange gedauert bis ich mich für asiatische Snacks interessierte.Zum ersten mal habe ich jetzt Mochis probiert und muss sagen: Lecker!Für diejenigen, die es noch nicht probiert haben, es schmeckt so ähnlich wie süßer, roher Kuchenteig ^^Von der Konsistenz her ist es angenehm weich, die Bohnenpaste im inneren hat teilweise festere Stückchen mit Schale, man merkt also dass es sich wirklich um Bohnen gehandelt hat und nicht um irgendeine künstliche Paste. Die stückchen haben in etwa die festigkeit von Bohnen im Chilli Concarne, also genau richtig ^^Alles im allem: Wer sie noch nicht probiert hat und sich dafür interessiert, der sollte sie Austesten. Aber Achtung, der Geschmack könnte euch nicht zusagen, mir jedenfalls haben sie super geschmeckt.

Die Konsistenz war anders als andere Mochis die ich probiert habe. Sie waren fester und allgemein etwas trockener. Die Verpackung sieht auch anders aus als auf dem Bild. Auf meinen steht “Yuki&Love“. Aber weil die Lieferung sehr schnell war und sie trotzdem ganz gut schmecken gibts von mir 4 Sterne.

Schmeckt wenn man die Nase zuhält ganz gut aber ansonsten haben die mir nicht geschmeckt. Ich kannte Mochis schon und ich liebe diesen Reisteig aber die Bohnenpaste war nicht meins.

Die Mochis kamen pünktlich an und waren gut verpackt. Aber leider war die Bohnenpaste im Inneren der Mochis sehr hart und teilweise stückig, was weniger erfreulich ist. Trotzdem sind sie nicht schlecht

Ich habe mir die Mochi mit Rote Bohnenfühlung bestellt da sie dem Original am nächsten stehen. Die lieferung kam recht fix und die Mochi sahen echt lecker aus. Mit dem Messer hab ich den 1 Mochi mal in der mitte geteilt und die fühlung war auch großzügig verteilt. Vom geschmack her ist der "fertig Mochiteig" echt gewöhnungsbedürftig den er schmeckt künstlich-süß aber mit der fühlung zusammen sehr lecker.

So schnell wie die Mochis angekommen sind, so schnell wurden sie auch verputzt. Sehr lecker.

Ich habe auch diese Reiskuchen gegessen und muss sagen, sie sind zwar nur halb so gross wie die Original japanischen, sind aber vom Geschmack aehnlich.Habe keinerlei Verstaendnis fuer die schlechte Bewertung.

Auch diese Mochi's sind nur lecker aber aufgepasst nicht mehr wie 1-2 auf einmal essen sättigen mehr als die anderen Geschmacksrichtungen aber so hat man länger davon wie von den anderen Sorten.

Schnelle Lieferung und super lecker.

Die Mochi waren erst echt gewöhnungsbedürftig .... also lecker aber halt anders .... gut anders ^^die Lieferung ging sehr schnell von statten. Ich habe das Produkt bereits 1 Tag später bekommen...ich werde sie mir auf jeden Fall noch einmal bestellen :)

Also ich muss sagen, die ware kam an und auch in Einwandfreien Zustand, aber es ist einfach nicht mein Geschmack, ich dachte mir ich probier sie mal, aber es war total anders als ichs mir vorgestellt habe, für meinen Geschmack viel zu süß

versand war top, doch das produkt mehr als enttäuschend. es steht zwar "japanese style" drauf, doch haben diese reiskuchen nicht viel mit dem japanischen original zu tun. für mich schmecken diese dinger wiederlich chemisch und die konsisdentz ist eher die von gekauten kaugummi.
