I have not actually stand there stare at it but it works because of zapped flies and mosquitos left behind. Thank goodness. So I will definitely recommend and buy more to get more coverage.

Save your money; don't bother
Solar-powered bug zapper sounds great on paper but in reality this is practically useless.The tiny solar panel is barely enough to charge it even after two full days on the sun. The resulting UV light is so dim, it fails to attract anything even in complete darkness. And after three days, I have yet to hear a single mosquito being zapped or find one dead bug inside the lamp the next day.
