What are you waiting for!!??
These books are addictive. They are SO good, and if you haven't started them yet, now is the perfect time because the series is finished and you won't have to wait on pins and needles for the next book to come out like I did.I always find the reviews for books in a series to be the hardest to write. I don't want to give too much away, but I also want you to want to pick these books up and read them.I loved this book the best out of the three. Natalia is like a completely different person than she was in book one. She was once this meek, foolish, girl. She believed anything her father and Diego told her and trusted no one else. As she's been with Cristiano she has learned to trust no one, not even herself, and she's also learned how to fight back, how to protect herself. She was such an awesome female lead. I love when the heroine of the story fights back, she doesn't wait on a man to save her, she knows how to take care of the situation and get herself out of it. Natalia wanted nothing more than to learn how to take care of herself, and I really like that Cristiano wasn't afraid to teach her how to do that. I also understand why she was so hesitant to let people in, she had been deceived so many times in her life, she had been let down by so many people, it was understandable why she kept everyone at arms length. She didn't feel like she could trust her own judgement."It had been Cristiano's dying wish to hear my scream. And the heavens had granted him that."If you have been reading my reviews for a while, then you know I love a good anti hero. I like the guy that seems like he's a real jerk, but turns out that isn't really the case. Sure they make mistakes, and sure most of the time they don't know how to say the right things at the right time, but I think that's what makes them more appealing to me. They just seem real. Cristiano was definitely an anti-hero. Some might have called him a villain, I just called him misunderstood. He let people think and feel a certain way about him, and he didn't care if they didn't know him at all. There was no one and nothing in the world he loved more than Natalia. He went through so much just to prove this to her, and even though it was so frustrating to watch her deny him day in and day out, I think it was worth it in the end.Listen, every time I review one of the books in this series I talk about how frustratingly slow the slow burn is in this romance. This one was no different. I was reading this book thinking how long can Jessica torture us, really? The answer is, she can torture you however long she wants to, and she will. What a painful, painful slow burn. Don't give up, because holy smokes is the wait worth it. This book was on fire with all the heat. There was more than one way to make the world a better place. Good didn't always prevail. Sometimes, monsters had to take the reins. This book is so much more than romance. It has suspense and mystery. While your dying for the characters to get their crap together, your also on the edge of your seat wondering what is going to happen next. This is some really excellent writing. This series has definitely made it's way into one of my top all time favorite lists. These books are so interesting, so suspenseful, and so agonizing. For the record. Remember what I said in the last review? I didn't like Diego, I didn't trust him. My feelings haven't changed. You'll see.At the end of the book, I was cursing Jessica. I was crying. I was thinking to myself this cannot be how a person ends a book. Everything you think you know is wrong. She really threw me for a loop and played with my emotions. What a roller coaster ride.Overall, this is a 5 STAR read for me. The whole series was 5 STARS for me. I will highly recommend these books to everyone. Jessica had some amazing writing in these books. She knew exactly how to draw the reader in and hook them from the start. She made you suffer, she made you swoon, and she kept you on the edge of your seat. This was the perfect ending to an already pretty perfect series."I'm not going anywhere without you, and I don't want to. I would rather burn by your side now than spend an eternity in Heaven alone."

5 Amazing Finale Stars!
Yeeesss. That's just the conclusion I needed to finish out the trilogy. There wasn't one part I didn't like and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. We had so much anticipation and build up from the previous two books and thankfully, this didn't disappoint. It was amazing and definitely a page turner.Natalia finally became the person I've been waiting for her to be the past two books. She stood up for herself and Cristiano, she showed her strength, and she finally showed her love for Cristiano, and when they finally get together? Explosive. Their relationship and love and the sacrifices they are willing to make for each other? That's true love.I loved Cristiano this whole trilogy, and not only did Natalia shine in this book, but Cristiano shined even more too. And since we had more of his point of views in this too, we got to see more in his head and it really showed just how remarkable he always was. He cared for others deeply, and loved Natalia truly. He was strong, capable, smart, and of course, hot - what more could we ask for in a hero?Overall this was a pretty exciting series and the anticipation, and slow burn of it made the conclusion even better. If I had one thing I disliked, or wished it was different, it would just be a longer epilogue maybe with babies present? And maybe to see them back in the Badlands with their people again. Either way, I still feel satisfied with the end. Great series and totally recommend.

Great Ending
So this book....The writing as usual was great.I love love him. I love me a confident man.Insert Natalia. I like her I do. I can only imagine what she went through... Here's my issue... when i realized the time frame of everything.... She went from being so madly in love with one - so far that she would defy and pick him over her father... among other things.... die for him.... to hating him and picking and falling in love with his brother in a couple weeks.... ehhhh…. maybe.Anyways.... other than that this was a great book. Full of love, family and action. What would you do for love and family, and not family that is bound by blood.Remember love isn't will you die for me it's I will die for you :)

Well written and satisfying conclusion
I didn't review the previous two books but they all kinda flow into each other so this review includes them all. This was a slow burn, interesting and complex foray into a Mexican Cartel family and somewhat of a love triangle as well. The author did a fantastic job of creating a feeling of angst as the main female character attempts to navigate her feelings for a set of brothers and a mystery/set of circumstances that cause her and us to wonder who is the good guy and who is the villain and what truly happened many years ago. While it was a slow burn, when it was burning, it was hot. And the story itself is good. The side characters are well written and I wouldn't mind a spin off centering on Pilar and Alejandro to be honest.Like all romance novels this one has a HEA at the end but I will say there are moments of sadness that lingered for me, even after all was said and done. Having said that I look forward to reading other books by this author.

3 books, each were 5 stars
Wow, what a Love story. One of my favourite genres where two men fight over the girl. Each book kept me reading. Book one Natalia was young and niave, so I can over look her simplistic belief in what she thought she saw. Books 2 and 3 best love and chemistry. I am not a gifted writer to do this author and this series the justice they deserve but highly recommend you read it yourself. Also loved Cityscape by JH. So passionate, realistic. Great writer. v

Best book 2019
Well i cant really find the words to describe this book. Amazing, fantastic or anything else wouldnt be enough to do justice of how good this book really is. This is by far the best book ive read in a long long time. I took a day off work to read it cuz ive loved the First 2. I thought they were fantastic but this book got me into a rollercoaster of emotions. It got me crying, laughing, blushing, my heart racing and wanting this damn man all for myself😁 i dont want to spoil so im not going into details but this is a must read book for sure. And if you never read any other Book by jessica hawkins start with these and then read all the others cuz this author is just that good! If i could give more than 5 Stars i could.

OMG this trilogy
This trilogy is truly outstanding, the mystery, the intrigue and of course the love story of a lifetime. I don’t even have the words to describe this trilogy with any semblance of true justice to the enormity of the feels it produced in me.
