Perfect 👌
Works fantastic. Rebuilt the faucet, zero leaks, and feels nice and firm. It's a brand new faucet now.

Works in my Delta faucet
I had an annoying drip from my Delta bathtub faucet. This was an easy fix. Two versions of the rubber seals are included so make sure you use the correct ones. Install the springs correctly, too.

Just what I needed
Half the price of what was available at the local hardware store for the same brand, although they didn't stock this particular repair kit. I was able to stop the drip on my old basement shower with this kit. I saved a lot of money because I didn't have to replace the whole assembly. It took less than an hour to fix it.

Had to use my old springs, but everything else worked great
I have an old single-handle shower faucet from 1995 that was dripping. This was apparently the correct kit for it, but the springs (the shorter ones) were too long so the little rubber rings wouldn't stay put. I used the new parts from this package but the old springs, then everything fit perfectly.

Fit my old Delta 600 series shower faucet PERFECT
My faucet handle in my kids shower started to get loose over the past year. I kept tightening it until I said enough. So I replaced the entire ball assembly and with a new one. Turns out it was the wrong part. The water was either hot or cold... no in between. Not good for a shower kids use becuase of scalding. I spent several days researching different Delta shower faucets and finally found this part number from Danco. It fit perfectly, and now the mixer valve works get. While I was at it I also changed out the handle to a ball. While most people would not have made this choice I thought it best becuase small hands could grip it easier.Couple tips when installing:- buy some food grade plumbers silicone lubricant. Makes the job go alot easier.- slide the springs and rubber boots onto a screwdriver shaft and then insert the shaft into the holes. You now have a guide to slide both the springs and boots into the hole. Once in, remove the screwdriver and seat them with your fingers. Then apply some lubricant.- When installing the white plastic retaining cup; get it into the correct place (there's a notch to makes sure of that) and then put on the retaining cover. Use needle nose pliers to press the cup back into the springs and then tighten the retaining cover.- Don't tighten the ball tensioner until your completely done. An installation tool makes it alot easier.- Try not to use pliers on anything. All of this can be done by hand with a dry washcloth (your hands will be slippery from the lubricant). Using a wrench can damage the connections in the back of the valve and end up costing you alot of money.Hope this helps someone else.

Fits old single handle faucet knobs
This worked to eliminate the drips I had with the handle in various positions. Further, greasing the ball improved the smoothness of the knob when adjusting the water temp or pressure. Time to do the other one here! I'd recommend disassembling your fixture first to check it out and make sure this part matches. There were enough clues in my case to go for it, and it was correct. I have an old Delta faucet, maybe c1975.

Stopped the leak!
It completely stopped the leak. My faucet was ~24 years old so it wasn't the easiest thing to fix. The hardest part was getting the springs back in all the way so the ball-valve could sit back right to screw the outer housing back on. But I finally got everything in there and the leak was 100% stopped.

Didn't work as well as I thought it would.
I thought I would rebuild my 30 year-old Delta shower valve while I was upgrading the trim from chrome to oil-rubbed bronze. I have rebuilt a number of Delta 600 series valves using OEM Delta parts. The is my first experience using a Danco rebuilding kit.For some reason, the shower valve leaked at the bonnet nut no matter how I adjusted it. I eventually purchased a Delta kit and everything was fine again. The Danco kit is much less costlier than the Delta kit. Given the results I achieved, I suppose the difference is money well spent.
