Love this mold. Makes great, fancy looking and large sized ice balls to enjoy with my sotch. Great purchase.

More than just boring, old ice. I call them, "disco balls in my glass." The shape also keeps it from melting fast, keeping your drink colder for longer.

Okay, so this DOES make large ice balls if your main concern is keeping a drink cold. However, the design is not super secure... I use binder clips on the edges to hold the two halves together after filling.It also leaves a fairly decent ice "flange" edge around the balls. Yes, this will melt away first, but don't think that's really the goal. Also, I have yet to produce something where you can clearly see the crystal-cut, faceted sides... appears more like a lumpy ball.The silicone products seem much better.

Tried these because I hear how the larger pieces of ice melts slower and keep drinks cooler. The ice spheres are small enough to fit in any cup. Not so sure about lasting longer than real ice cubes. But they are different and work.

I bought these for a friend and he loves them. I have given him many gifts through the years who knew, Ice cube trays were going to be the bomb for him

The ice cube definition is not there. You cannot see the angles at all. These look like spheres with rings around them because of the design of the trays. I would not purchase again.

It doesn’t seem to make a totally round ball. The bottom half is ok but the top half doesn’t fill completely. The ice spheres don’t pop out of the hard plastic mould. You have to put it order hot running water to separate the 2 halves of the mold. I would expect the mould shell will crack or break very soon.

Easy to make and a great way to add a little fun to any cocktail.
