Great for chewing
I got this for my three mice (Link, Raj, and Rowdy) and they have fun chewing the branches. I didn't know there was a small wooden ball in the center of the branches until it fell out after a day of chewing, but the mice are so small that the "rattle" wasn't a choking hazard. Overall good product for small rodents' affinity for chewing :)

Don't waste your money on this. Our gerbils chewed it up and destroyed it in less than ten minutes. Plus, the "bell" inside didn't make any noise.

The product itself is quite flimsy but decent. My hamster took to biting it but not as much as I had hoped. The part that she did chew on is coming apart so I'm guessing this toy will not last very long especially if your small pet is a chewer.
