The timer worked for a while, but after a short time it would turn the light off after the set time, but not turn back on the next day as it is suppose to. I contacted the seller and promptly received a replacement. This did the same thing. Worked for a while, but after about a month the timer stopped turning the light back on. The light does work and my plants are thriving, as long as I remember to turn the light back on manually.

This light on high emits a lot of heat! Too hot for my safety liking. Has a dimmer, but when on lower it does feels cooler, but then not enough light for plants. Poor customer service too, won't buy again.

This is a surprisingly small and lightweight grow light. I got it with the intention of using it intermittently to start plants before moving them outside, and for that purpose I think it's ideal. I had to supply my own extension cord and hardware to allow easy raising and lowering, so you'll probably need a few more bits than what comes in the box before using. The included hardware is sufficient for suspending it, as the light itself is very lightweight and doesn't need beefy hardware. You could hang it up with a chain of paper clips or light string.The light pattern is good for the intended use, not too focused but not wasteful about lighting to the sides. The adjustable light levels are everything I anticipate ever needing. The timer function works so far, but I'm concerned that it might break, as it seems like the flimsiest part of the setup. So far so good though, I will update if it doesn't hold up.

This light is nice and bright and great value for the price.Just 2 issues, the first one is pretty small: when dimmed, the boards make a buzzing sound.And my second issue is a bit more important as it is a safety issue: This advertisement says that the LED panel is ip65 waterproof but the instruction manual in the box explicitly states that this panel is not waterproof.So maybe someone from JCBritw can answer this question for me. Is the panel actually waterproof as advertised?Also, just a heads up, this light will not work with an external timer. every time the power goes out, your timer is reset and you need to turn the light back on manually.

After a month or so of use, plants are growing good. Light is a bit noisier now. Power supply gets really hot so you cannot put it on something that could melt easily. The wire gets hot too. Because of the length of the cable you will most likely have to put the power supply in your tent. Don't put it on the floor or your tent. Also this will heat up quite much your tent, so you will need proper ventilation or keep the door open. Also timer can be set at 18 hours but documentation says to not put it at 18 hours for a long period of time. So keep that in mind, if you are planning on doing autos with this light. The safe recommendation for this light is max 16h per day for long periods.Update: power supply died after 6 months

The unit died after about 2 months of 10 h/day usage. Controller and wires are getting hot. I would advise not to buy this unit.
