Solid 5lbs. Rope
This is a nice 5lbs. Jump rope. It is heavy duty and works great. Good price.

Sturdy but hard to shorten!
These are really sturdy jump ropes! I bought two in the hopes they would grow and adjust with my children. They are extremely difficult to shorten though. It’s necessary to cut off a length of rope to make them short enough for my (taller than average) kids. The rope is rubber-covered twisted wires and though the instructions show scissors cutting the excess, neither scissors nor wire cutters could do it! I ended up twisting and pulling and yanking and snipping until I got it. Painful. You can kind of bend some of the ends of the rope and jam it into the handle to shorten it a bit more but it’s difficult to get the length just right in order to get the handle screwed back on. It’s a really good jump rope but not a “grow with me”.

Great for battle rope work outs in smaller spaces
Bought this as a single battle rope. We have a small work out space and the other ropes are much longer. This gives me the space I need and the same intended work out. It’s a bit long to do any actual jump roping with. It’s well made, weighted but. It impossibly heavy. Came with a nice bag for storage.

Great for training
I wasn't sure how this rope would hold up. But after training with it a few times a week since it arrived, I can say that I am not disappointed. My goal has been to jump rope with this in 60 second intervals. So far I'm tired after 20 seconds.
