learning in a fun way! adorable pictures and stories relatable to a toddler. Worth it !

I'm 50 some years old and this was my favorite childhood book. My children and now my grandchildren have all loved it. It's my go-to gift for little kids.They will pore over every page hundreds if not thousands of times.

This book is a Christmas gift for one of my little ones. Richard Scarry is an outstanding children’s author. My nephews love his books and stories. Stories are humorous and based on colorful characters. A+++++

The pics are so intricate and fun to explore. It's like 10 books in one. Such an awesome deal. My nieces and nephews loved this.

I gave this book as a gift to a family member. Someone had gifted it to me when my daughter was born. We spent many happy hours together with this book-both learning and laughing.

I vividly remember my parents reading to me from this book when I was really little, and I still recall how much I loved the pictures, and the fact that almost every item is labeled. In my pre-reading mind, I used to delight in knowing that the jumble of letters next to each "thing" (be it a hat, a book, a nose, etc.) revealed the item's name, and this truly excited me to learn to read.I don't know what happened to that book I had as a child, so I was thrilled to find this on Amazon for a great price. Now that I have a daughter of my own, who is 19 months, this will make a perfect Christmas present for her. She is not quite at the age where she has the patience to sit down and be read to a story book with an actual plot (even a really basic one), but if I simply point to objects in a book and tell her what they are, she's all ears. So Richard Scarry seems like a great book to get her started on.This is also a really nice hardcover with sturdy pages, so it's a great gift book for others. (I gifted one to my 3-year-old goddaughter as well!).

This has been around forever and I hope it is always in print. Great for young readers…and storytime listeners.

How can you go wrong with the classic Richard Scarry stories with morals, colored pictures all wrapped up in a bundle of fun?!! A great Christmas gift for our 3 year old. Buy it and share with your children! There is so much garbage at their little fingertips nowadays, so its resfreshing to find the old classics even if the world is changing.

Amazing storybook with very lovely illustrations, my 2-yr old’s favorite book!

I am amazed about ways of stories, new books are missing this way of teaching kids to look at things more widely creative.

Love the book! When I received it, I opened it and started reading it and ended up reading half the book before I realized it! It is so wonderful to read even for a grandmother by herself! Can’t wait to enjoy with my grandson! I definitely would recommend this in your library. Thank you.
