Arrived on time, In tip top condition in a great box. Product needs batteries, easy to setup, 6 compartment for 6 meals, you can set the timers to your schedule feeding preferences. Works well, did the job great it even calls for feeding time! Great product at a great price. So easy to use and clean. Cats love it. The compartments are wide enough for my cats to be comfortable while eating, compartments have enough depth as to hold a good bit of food. Quality feeder. Should last a long while.

This is perfect for an overnight trip or in my case I sometimes get home later than my dogs feeding time. The music it plays while turning is helpful for my dog to know it’s time to eat.It takes AA batteries, after 4 days of using it... the batteries were showing low already. So, I would recommend to take out the batteries when it’s not being used because they will go by fast. I had mine for once every 12 hours

Not a smart timer, very simplistic. Loses minutes each day. Does not time based on clock, rather a count down.

Our feeder met its untimely end a week short of its one-year anniversary. While we experienced the same problems with short battery life that others have mentioned, the real problem we had with the device was that our cat was able to open it from time to time using brute force methods. Essentially, he got his claws under the top and kept pulling at it until it popped off. It was an interesting thing to watch but loud enough to wake us up out of a sound sleep. Over time, his repeated assaults on the food dish took their toll. This morning, I awoke to find the feeder in three pieces, the bottom, top, and the ring intended to join the two. The feeder was damaged beyond repair and we’ve decided to try one from a different manufacturer in hopes it’s more robust.

My dog is on Prednisone which makes her really hungry all the time. This machine is great, cuz I can leave for the day and know that my girl will get a snack every couple hours (or whatever interval you set) I like this machine because I can put anything in the trays, her kibble, or a special snack. This machine has made this difficult time easier cuz I can leave and know my girl won't be hungry while I am gone. It's easy to use and easy to clean. But I would give you a word of warning if your dog is strong and food obsessed they can break into it. I put a REALLY special treat of turkey in it, and my girl went nuts and broke into it, getting all the treats at once. But as long as I don't put anything TOO wonderful in it she will wait for the door to open, and not break into it. I don't think a cat would be strong enough to break into this machine, but my dog is a Beagle and Beagle owners know they are mischievous and food obsessed.

I was looking for an affordable automatic feeder for my cat in order to space his portions out throughout the day, as well as set it to feed him early in the morning. This model has definitely delivered and our cat understood right away that when the song played, food appeared. There are a couple features that prevent it from being a 5-star review. One, it only works on batteries, and it will eat through them very quickly. Having to replace 4 AA on a regular basis will get costly. We tried the rechargeable batteries, but they do not seem to work. I wish there was a plug-in option. I've been turning off the unit when possible to preserve battery life. In addition, the song is helpful for letting your cat know, but it is loud. A couple different volume options would be helpful, especially during the night, I can hear it even from upstairs. Overall, it is helping space out feedings so our cat doesn't eat his entire portion in the morning. Easy to clean and easy to set the time.

Easy to program. Slots allow for 6 feedings. I bought two and set mine every 8 hours to feed my two cats three times over 24 hours. It’s easy to set up and works perfectly. I’ve been using it for a week. You need to purchase your own batteries to set it up. It requires 3 AA batteries per unit.

Works fine, but unfortunately it uses up batteries like crazy.
