incredibly useful, great value for money
i now have three of these. i use one for optimising the output of a small wind turbine the other two i use as a high power variable bench supply.the only down side is if the input voltage exceeds the selected output voltage the output rises above the selected output level im hoping they will come up with a version that steps up or down so that output regulation in maintained under any condition of input.A TRUE POWER CONVERTER PLEASE.Still, Highly recommended.

Arrived damaged. Des not work. Capacitor badly dented
This item arrived damaged and does not work. One of the capacitors is badly dinged and appears to be the cause of voltage converter not working. Now Amazon make returns a hassle so as to prevent you from returning damaged goods. It will cost me more to ship this back to Amazon than they are willing to pay. So now I lose money because I was sent defective goods?! Such garbage!

Missing components.
Low voltage adjustment potentiometer missing on my new unit delivered today. How do I protect battery supply when potentiometer is missing? It is clearly shown on all the pictures so why is it missing on supplied product?

Does the job for me
Bought this to step up 12V to 24V for an LED strip. My 12V source is unregulated but this seems to work well even as the battery goes to zero. I'm limiting to 60W so can't comment on the 1200W claimed capacity, but the adjustments on voltage and current were fairly easy to use - you just need a small enough screwdriver.
