Only worth it if you buy a single guide
The construction of each extension is very good and the clamp works well. However, if two are used the accuracy isn't good. I needed a straight edge for cutting a sheet of plywood lengthwise and it was off by close to a 1/4" at midpoint. The problem as I see it at the connection. The ends of each extension do not appear to be square and the method of connecting the two is not nearly adequate. Bottom line, if you only need one guide, it's worth the $. Otherwise, choose another guide.

It's a heavyweight lm sure it could bend at the connector where the two come together if not handled right other than that it works great
