saves me money, worth it
I work on my own can in almost all cases. It's made my life a lot easier. Even if you were never going to take it into a mechanic, the time it saves you in figuring out some car issues is worth it alone. Helps point you in the right direction if not just highlight the exact issue, depending on how sophisticated you car is I guess. Ask yourself, how much is my time worth?I've never used any other Scan tools of any kind so I don't have anything to compare to, but it's really easy to use and I like that the software updates through the app. That way you never have to worry that you scan tool is out if date or update the software manually through a PC.

Best OBDII reader I have ever owned
I had been putting off purchasing an OBDII reader for my vehicle and always borrowed my brothers or friends. One thing I found about their is that it was always a hassle connecting and having to find the right app that would work with it. When I decided to purchase one because my car yet again had a check engine light come on, I looked to find one that had it's own app. I came across the AUTOPHIX. It had the features I liked, ratings seemed pretty good and I could get it the same day through Amazon. I gotta say, this was the easiest OBDII device I have ever used. I pre-downloaded the app that it works with and as soon as I got home from work after it was delivered, I connected it to my car and immediately when I opened the app, it was already connecting to the device. All I had to do for any sort of set up was put in the info about my car. I didn't have to mess with finding the device and connecting it, entering any special codes and what not that I have had to do for other readers. This made me extremely happy with the device right off the bat. I took screenshots of the codes which also had descriptions of the issues with the codes ( I didn't have to google them later) and took them to the auto shop and got my issue fixed. It was well worth the extra $25-$30 that I would have saved had I gotten one of the cheaper ones and honestly, I would probably spend a little more knowing how extremely easy this was to us.

It provides some useful information
It does in fact provide some useful information, however, some of the data is provided without any context. Pros: Compact, easy to use, provides some usable information, affordable and allows for reports about each time you run the full battery of diags on your vehicle.Cons: There is no useful included documentation, other than how to associate the module to your mobile device using blue tooth (in 6 or 7 different languages). Online help is slightly better. In all seriousness, if you're expecting the same level of output and control as a professional OBDII analyzer, then you might be a little disappointed, but for basic information, it's pretty good and very intuitive.

Definitely worth it!
You can’t beat it with a stick!Works too perfection, no more going to the parts store and having them read your code…

Lots of Bells and Whistles but does it do anything?
This product produces a lot of data and dashboards on the App, but I don't know if its accurate or doing anything. My first gripe is the export report feature. Its worthless. It combines 20 some screen shots from the App into one tiny jpeg. Its completely worthless for viewing. I give the customer service a one star for ignoring my email bringing this serious flaw to their attention. No response because they don't care. As far as the fault codes, it wasn't catching them when I tested it. I had fault codes going off in my 2018 Maxima and bought this to see if It would catch them. I ran the App before, during the fault codes, and after before shutting off the car and nothing showed up. The App said no fault codes, everything is fine. I took my car into the dealer and had them check it out. I'm glad the $1200 sensor replacement was under warranty.Pros: Lost of info and dashboards. Cons: Worthless report export, Poor customer service, doesn't catch the fault codes you would expect. Maybe its good for catching simple things, but not worth hanging on too to find out.
