Updated review on 26May2020: After sending a message to the vendor, they send me a replacement one from a different batch. The new one was charged up yesterday and it works well - finishing my routine cleaning and there was still some power left! Cross my fingers the new one will last. 5 stars for the good customer service!Update: After 6 month of routine use of my Dyson vac, the battery still holds very strong. I am very happy with this replacement. Two thumbs up, highly recommend! I would buy this brand soon again for my 2nd Dyson vac - the battery is failing after 3 years.

Update:The seller reached out to me and promptly replaced the two original packs. The new ones are obviously from a different batch (even the batch font used to engrave the batteries looks higher quality) so hopefully these will last. For now, they work as expected.Original Review:I purchased two of these to replace my original Dyson packs, which had lasted me around 6 years but were getting down to about 10-15 minutes of run time. These batteries initially worked well, but within the last month, they both took a massive turn for the worse. At this point, they are unusable, literally giving out after anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes, regardless of how long I leave them to charge.

(See update 1 and 2 below) I have bought two of these now (we have two handhelds) and they have so far worked perfectly. As for longevity, only time will tell for sure. But, so far, I am very happy and would recommend these replacements.Update: The battery was dead when I went to use the DC31. Amazon is sending me a replacement. I hope this isn't indicative of what I can expect from these batteries. The original Dyson batteries lasted at least 6 years.UPDATE 2: These batteries are fairly cheap and fit and work..... for a while. I have been lucky to get a year out of one (have had 4 now) before they crap out after only using for about 30 minutes during the whole period. Will I buy one of these again? Certainly not. Original Dyson batteries may cost more but a 6 year Dyson OEM lifespan is well worth it.

I update my previous review to 4 stars due to their proactive customer service. Not just because they offered to sent me an replacement one but they want to have the defect one back so that they could look into the issue then improve their product. I like the way how they tackle the issue.I have one Dyson battery OEM and buy this one for extra. Only 4 months with only occasion use, the battery won't be able to charge anymore, but my Dyson OEM is still working for years already.

Battery quit charging and died way too soon in my opinion. I purchased this battery because my original battery doesn’t hold a charge as long as it was when new, it’s around 5-6 years old. This battery worked great at first then just died at less then 1 year old. I just think they should last longer. Oh well back to using my original battery that will still charge.

I don't know if it will last as long as my original Dyson battery in my DC35, but this is a perfect fit and it restored the functionality of the vacuum. We were having trouble with the DC35 cutting off every few seconds while we were trying to use it. I thought the battery contacts were dirty, but cleaning them didn't help. This replacement battery completely corrected the issue and the unit operates like new again. I'm very happy with this purchase.

The media could not be loaded.  All Dyson product are premium, as well as their batteries. This replacement works great for few months, but after that, it doesn't shorts its charge.... it just stop working. Bad, bad, bad

Original Review left early April 2020. This battery started out great, but within 60 days was holding barely enough charge to vacuum a single room. Disappointing that their warranty is 50% longer than Amazon standard 30 days, but not quite long enough to cover how long this inferior product actually lasted.Updated Review left May 5, 2020. Provider was very responsive to my review on Amazon and reached out to offer and send a replacement battery which has been received. This is terrific customer service and makes a big difference. Once I see how long the replacement battery lasts, I will update the stars and re-review the item. Hoping I just got a bad one and this next one lasts a long long time.
