Holy Racist Demeaning Book, Batman!!Seriously, though. I understand the general point of this book, but the theme is so offensive, assuming that every Spanish-speaking individual who comes to the United States to work is going to do so in the capacity of: janitor, security guard, painter, child caregiver, low-level construction worker, maid/housekeeper, etc., etc., etc. You get the picture. Pandering to the lowest common denominator here much? Perhaps if the authors had included a chapter on asking about college classes or assuming that maybe, just MAYBE, a top-level executive who happens to speak only Spanish might come to the United States and need to learn Corporate-type English, rather than filling pages with the likes of "I think we are going to need to fumigate the area" and "these skimmer baskets are full of leaves."And please don't get me wrong, these are all noble professions. It's just that the authors seemed to be operating with rather closed minds when they decided not to include more white-collar professions within these chapters.Just yuck, sorry.
