I love these, they are a great size and beautiful ...
I have been looking for solar lanterns for my backyard. I love these, they are a great size and beautiful colors. They come on at dusk, read the directions first on how to drain the battery and charge for two days with power off in the sun.I will enjoy them at night during summer.

Problems
I purchased the lanterns but they didn't match the description. They used a AAA battery instead of a AA battery. A prompt refund was received with an explanation that I had received an earlier version and the new version used AA batteries. I ordered the lanterns again and received the new version with AA batteries. The newer version also had a brighter LED and came with stays to keep the lantern shape fuller - both good features. One of the lanterns operated intermittently. I opened it up and inspected the circuit board and found several cold solder joints. I re-soldered the joints and the lantern is now working well. Another lantern failed to charge the battery, so I looked for cold solder joints again but didn't find any. I re-soldered all the joints anyway but that didn't help. It still won't charge the battery.

Dollar Tree Lanterns
This product is not high quality. It is more like a dollar store purchase. The lanterns look like deflated playground balls. There is no vertical straight wire to hold their structure. I am so disappointed because they were expensive. I've never been disappointed buying Chinese lanterns before. This is the first time. If they had couple of vertical wires inside, they would have been O.K. I feel ripped off!!!!!!!

Chinese Lanterns
The lanterns operate only intermittently, one not at all, and they are very dim. I will be returning the items.

A little touchy, but overall nice!
I ordered these to add some flair to my back porch. While the tops are a little sensitive, I really enjoy the way they add color, light and fun to the decor. And who doesn't love solar?

Solar lanterns make a spash
I love these lanterns. The colors are bright enough to stand out in the garden. Helios has great customer service as well.

Blue light seems to dampen color
I was excited when I open the package. The colors are quite bright. Unfortunately the lights inside is blue and this makes the red and orange lanterns somewhat dim at night with the blue shining through from the light.
