After received last week, I've only used it a couple of times but so far it has been easy to operate and functions as descripted . I am certain it will be well used in the years to come and keep our food so much fresher. After sealed packages, it also saved freezer space. It’s worth the money!

This vacuum sealer has been pretty simple to use once you realize how much pressure it takes on each end to lock it down. At first I thought it didn't work until my daughter showed me how hard I had to press to lock it. I use it to repackage store bought fresh meat before freezing it. I also use it to package fresh veggies from our garden to freeze. As others have mentioned the magnets on the back aren't strong enough to hold it on the refrigerator, which was disappointing. I've been using it 2 - 3 times a week and yesterday it just stopped sealing. The heat strip no longer heats up to seal the bag. The vacuum still works but, its useless unless it seals. Anyone else have this issue?

Easy to use but doesnt always work. Very frustrating. Should have spent the extra for a nicer one.

So far, so good. It is a bit stiff to lock the sealer closed to operate, but the vacuum is strong and the seal airtight. Seems to be a good, economical machine. Time will tell how reliable it is. (original rating, 5 stars)Well, shoot. A couple months gone by and the fourth time I took it out, the vacuum is toast. On the plus side, it still seals like a champ. Unfortunately, that still makes it useless. For all the use I've gotten out of this, it tripled the cost of all the food I sealed and froze.

I bought this vacuum sealer machine for my mom and she loves it! She says it’s easy to use and works well. The machine is small and not too heavy so it is easy to store. This sealer also works with most sealer bags so very convenient.

The vac/seal selection has never worked. It vacs but it doesn't seal. In order to seal the bag after it's been vaced, it's necessary to use the seal function. Of course when you turn off the vac button to use the seal button, air reenters the bag.Disapponted in the product …

was not strong enough for what i needed .. vacuum sealing avocados ( too moist ) .. but as a machine overall i think for meats and non moist veggies it is good value .. I am vegan -- you should be too ( environment, health, animals) .. but if not.. then this is good for meat... go vegan and save the planet :) .. and it is pretty good for the animals too!
