This headset is really amazing for the price. While some people have been a bit suspicious of the sound software, I must say downloading it was not dodgy at all and the software is great as it allows you to customize your experience the way you want it. For a headset of this price I did not think I would get this much quality. A big surprise was the great customer service they have, I had an issue with the first headset that I ordered and immediately they responded and instead of telling me to do things that wouldnt actually fix it, they quickly send me another one the next day.Pros:+ Very good sound quality+ Software is easy to download and install+ Allows for lots of sound customization and setting up the surround sound through software+ One of the best Customer Service I have seen, very quick response and they actually care+ Headset looks very good with the RGB+ Noise cancellation makes sure you are always immersed+ The sound card allows you to easily control the RGB, volume and mic+ Mic sounds good and cancels out surrounding sound, not too sensitiveThat being said I want to add a small problem that I can feel sometimes.Con:- The headset can feel heavy for some and uncomfortable for long gamingAltogether I must say this is a great headset and if you like to use a computer then and want to be immersed then this is a great choice for the price

A great step up from my old Gamescom headset. Very comfortable to wear for extended sessions, and people (even in general business meetings on Zoom) have told me the mic quality is excellent.Wouldn't hesitate to recommend for gaming. At default settings, they're a bit too bassy with a sludgy midrange for music (predominantly rock and metal here), but messing with the EQ settings might resolve that. Out of the box, my studio reference phones are much more suitable for music sessions so I just swap them over.I still need to get used to the audio representation in terms of positional audio (knowing when someone is creeping up behind you in Modern Warfare, for example), but the Xiberia works very well in Hunt: Showdown (keep the volume down a touch or you'll crap your pants every time you set off a flock of birds!). The quirks of Rainbow Six Siege's audio system is a tough one to crack inside these cans, though.Still, I assume that's more to do with my own senses and not exactly the headset (as it's much the same with the 7.1 function turned on or off). Wouldn't hesitate to recommend if you're on a budget and don't want to hit the higher echelons of the HyperX Cloud etc.

I bought these as a replacement for my (7+ years) old Corsair headset who's cable had finally become too brittle and was in danger of snapping.As has been mentioned in one of the other reviews, these can be a little bit on the tight side but even after a 6-8 hour session, I didn't end up with a headache. As with all over-ear headsets, your ears will become warm but I would put it like that - warm, not hot.The noise cancellation works great, in fact it can be a little disorientating when you first start talking as you hear your own voice in a somewhat muffled tone. My co-players, however, said that I was coming through just fine and was perfectly clear.I downloaded and installed the additional (Windows 10) software from the company without issue, although my PC detected and configured them as soon as I plugged them in.The headset cable is fine for use with a computer/laptop but I think console players may find it a tad short unless their console is close to hand.Personally, my only gripe is with the inline controller. I like the way it has a clip to attach it to your shirt so it can be kept out of the way or close to hand, depending on your needs. It has separate microphone and earpiece volume controls, which is very useful, HOWEVER, the large illuminating button in the middle is not (as I expected it to be and like other companies employ) for muting/unmuting your mic. No. Instead, it turns the earpiece LEDs on/off! Why? I mean, the LEDs are in the earpieces... on the side of your head... which you can't see while you have the headset on! What's the point? Instead of having what is arguably the most key function of an inline controller be the most obvious (and easiest to use) button on it, to mute/unmute your mic you have to fiddle about trying to slide a small toggle switch on the side of the controller. There's also no visual indicator as to whether you're muted or not which can be frustrating if you don't play in a well-lit area.The mute/unmute issue is the only thing stopping me giving this headset a full 5-out-of-5 review.

I got these are a replacement for my son, who uses a PS4 and a PC. It works well on both although uses up 1 USB slot on the PS4, so if you're charging controllers and using an external USB drive, it can make it tricky.The fit ins nice even on our differing headsizes and the cable is long enough for us. The inline controller I like as this makes it easy to mute and change the mic/speaker volume.I personally found the sound good for the price as it is better than the £40+ Turtle beach ones we already have. I use it on PC games and my hearing is not going to be the best but the bass is good and the virtual surround sound is great. These are a budget price, but much better than I thought. We've only used them for the last 2 weeks but very happy with the purchase so far.I might get my own pair as the cups fit very well over my dumbo ears and cancel out sounds well.
