I must admit that every Rick Springfield album even on vinyl is worth the purchase, i just recently purchased this on vinyl along with hard to hold, I have been a Rick Springfield fan since i was in junior high, and basically have everything he has released on cd and vinyl respectively, my favorite song from my australian idol is "What Kind Of Fool Am I? Not only this album but all his records are worth having, a must for every RICK fan.

I am very much proud of you that you took the chance a wrote your biography.....If people only like you for the music well they are very narrow minded as you deserve to tell the story how much you went through to get to the stardom..... I admire you as a whole person with good or bad..you are amazing human being and I love your music and movies Hard to Hold and Change of Places.... I was born in Europe and like you said in 60ties most people listen to Mozart and new rock like Beatles and Rolling stones so for you coming from Australia must have been difficult to success but you never gave up.... ( by the way I saw opera Don Giovanni from Mozart this summer in Prague and this opera he composed in Prague) what a beauty... first I visited Vienna and my home town of Prague... I will always support you and enjoy your jokes when first caller said to you I love your show and have been listening for long time and you said ... dood this is my first show.... I love dogs to my son Christopher purchased beautiful dog Maltese and Yorkshire and he called him Bogey ( after Humphrey Boghart movie Maltese falcon) he is a joy of our life.... I am not sure how many cd I have purchased but I like to listening to your music as I now it comes from your heart.... the book your memoir is very good and I do not care if you said more about your affairs your are only human..no?? love always Marcelle

Another great album from RS

This was one of my favorites, although I love all his music, this was more high energy and it really rocks!! He is one of my favorite artists and he is so multi talented in so many ways!! This meets expectations and then some!!! Love You Rick!!

I have loved RS since I was 11 (now 47). I like pretty much every song on this CD. He's a great song writer and singer.

Still my favorite or Rick Springfield's albums Each song is excellent, the production superb and the title track still ranks as one of the best guitar intros

This is listed as the Rock Candy version (Re-mastered & Re-loaded) but is just the original non remastered version.I purchased it and returned then was assured if I ordered it again I would receive the right version, I did this and recieved the same recording.The album itself is amazing, just wish Amazon would have honored the proper version listed.

1983 erschienen ist LIO das in meinen Augen beste Album von Mr. Springfield.Old-fashioned Pop-Rockmusik im Stile der 80er Jahre, wie sie beispielsweise auch Bryan Adams perfektioniert hat.

Un très bon album de Rick Springfield malheureusement peu connu en France. Quelques sonorités de synthé ont un peu vieillies et auraient pu se faire plus discrètes, mais dans l'ensemble, la couleur Rock FM des titres est vraiment agréable à l'oreille. Si l'on ne se laisse pas dérouter par l'intro trop synthétique du "Human Touch" qui ouvre l'album, on a là sans aucun doute le disque le plus rock de cet artiste. Tout les titres sont des hits en puissance, reprenant tout les codes de l'AOR : efficacité des compo, voix puissante légèrement voilée, refrains super mémorisables, solo guitare rapides courts et ultra efficaces. Une mention toute particulière pour "Me & Johnny", superbe ballade où la rythmique "stratocastérienne" est sublime. Un album qui s'écoute trop vite finalement. A acheter les yeux fermés pour tous les fans de Rock Americain et de chanteur style Brian Adams et autres Richard Marx.
