DEWALT QUICKFEED STRING TRIMMER HD, Multi

I purchased this “DEWALT Quickfeed String Trimmer HD, Multi” for my DEWALT DCST925 trimmer. Very pleased with this purchase. I believe this retailer must bulk purchase these from the manufacture. What you’ll receive is this trimmer head loaded with string. No directions are provided. However, I watched the videos provided by this retailer on the Amazon site below the product details. After watching, it took me all of 1 minute to change the trimmer head. I’ve trimmed my lawn 3 times now – it’s worked great. I’ve not loaded string yet, but watching the video it appears much simpler than loading the head that came with the trimmer. Think you’ll like this purchase, I do.

Wish I’d have known sooner how easy this was to replace and what a big difference it would make! I’d been banging the the old one hard for two years before it finally wore through completely and fell apart. Great purchase, will buy again and not wait so long next time.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered this replacement head to replace the original one on our Dewalt trimmer, model DCST920. The original head eventually broke, and this one was listed as compatible with our trimmer model. It arrived loaded with the string and with clear instructions on how to replace and use the new head. The process of replacing the head is super simple. All you need is just a screwdriver (or something similar) to lock the spinning shaft on the trimmer. You can then remove the head just by rotating it clockwise because it is a left thread. The new head is installed the same way, only it should be rotated counterclockwise. It literally takes just a minute or so. Once installed we tried how the new head works and found no issues there. By now we’ve been using it for a while trimming the grass around the house and it still works just fine. We are happy with this product and can use our trimmer once again.

Love these! They’re so simple to install and they last a good while! They fit perfectly on my weed eater. It’s definitely worth the money. I would spend double to not have to wind my own string.

De Walt trimmer head defective in three categories Broken string release Both Opren the container and closing it very difficult. Probably machined imprroperly This is probably why it was half price the broken string release.I used for five minutes tested string. Release did not work. I had to shut down for the day and do something else.Tried to takeoff trimmer head defective had to remove the clip using a screwdriver as it was very tightTried to put the trimmer head back on would not press on with 75 pounds of pressure or when I tapped it lightly with a hammer with a bit more force I got it to go onTest number two on string release did not work on the quick release.
