As everyone else has mentioned, the center bolts are too big. I’m guessing for another vehicle with the same size springs.I got 7/16 cap bolts with a hex head 3in long at a home improvement store. These were perfect and I was able to wrench from both ends. I had issues with the factory spring clips that had moved and were keeping the new leaf from seating in the pack. Just tap them around with a hammer but be sure to put the center bolt in first to prevent the other springs from moving. I can now to a small boat without sagging.

I have a 1998 Cherokee sport. my only complaint is that the bolts that are sent with this kit are too large for the holes that the stock leafs come with. Unfortunately, the only way of finding this out is taking the previous bolt out of my leaf pack first. So I was dead in the water..That being said, if you could find different bolts to use they go in relatively easy with the help of some clamps. These brought my rear leaf packs from flat back to a normal ride height..2 Months have gone by and the ride height still hasn't settled any.. I'm okay with that!

The initial lift is allot more then 2.5" its 3 1'4 but i suspect they will sag after a few hundred miles. The center pins are the wrong size for an xj and these also not common autostore parts. T These seem great for the money just remember you need new center pins and spring retailers that are not included here so your total price is gonna be about 20ish more to install them. Order a set of RE1482 for the pins and at least one set of 13-1401A and your good to go.

Very good price and it does what it says, the lift was about 2" indeed. But ..... the bolts, they don't fit at all, they are too big and large! If you says it is a kit for Jeep Cherokee, then put the right bolts inside the package. We don't need 4 bolts that don't fit, we need only 2 which fit! So, I had to buy 2 stainless steel (5/16 and 2" long) bolts and ground the heads to make them fit.

worked great! raised it a full 2". Only problem i had were the center pin bolts.. They were way to long and fat. I had to use 3" grade 8 5/16 bolts instead.I rounded the bolt head a little and it fit into place perfectly.

Looks good and works but bolts are vastly incorrect ! Way to long and to big! I used the old bolt and used the u bolts to hold it together, original bolt is to short but almost goes all the way through . Bolt pic and before and after pic . Jeep has 31"s

I had to get different center pins because they were too thick for my 2000 Jeep Cherokee Classic.

Good quality but the center bolt did not fit my other leafs.
