HCI Open Face Fiberglass Motorcycle Helmet Green/Gold w/Face Shield 15-660

I own the italian painted version of this same HCI helmet. I order this one because my wife liked it and she said he felt mine stood the test since 2009. Only issue i’ve Seen with this helmet has been the ‘red’ string does die on you at some point and you have to cut it off. Padding inside will compress at some point and feel a bit loose but i can honestly say its protected me in the past on two different instances. Her only complaint is that the chin straps are not the ‘modern’ Clip style but she still loves it.

The helmet is super cute. I love the design and it is different. The only thing that I don't like about it is that the strap around the chin area doesn't have a snap to hold the loose end. There is a little loop but still doesn't do the job. It's hard to get it super tight around the chin area too, you have to hold the strap tight with your hand then try to loop it thru the D ring and hold it with your other hand and by the time it's thru the second ring, it's loose already. I have another full face helmet that is more for a sport bike and the design of the strap just really works nicely. This one is for my scooter. I was really concern about getting a helmet online and the size. I went into a bike shop and tried on a Bilt and Bells. They fit so differently I was kinda scare of getting something that I haven't tried. The size chart is pretty good. I measured 55cm. I was at the biggest for a small and the smallest for the med. I rather get something that is a little big(I know that is not rule to go by if you are buying a helmet, it should fit snug) I just can't put a helmet that is going to give me a headache. So, I went with a med. Over I love the HCI designs, Bilt and Bells don't really have anything as cute as this one.

Bought it for girlfriend, she loves it. Just need to buy the wife one now.

Simple design that's been used for years (and works). Wearer loves the fit, and that it matches her sea-foam green scooter. While this unit is almost identical to her previous helmet, it has the updated benefit of an adjustable vent hole on the front - the clear, plastic circle above the visor.

I love this helmet. I just got a scooter and have never needed a helmet. It may fit me just right since it is supposed to fit a little snug, but I would like a tiny bit more room. I do have a pretty big head though.When I went to get my scooter at the dealership, I had three people that work there comment on how cool my helmet was.

Fits perfect, love the color. Feels secure although I hope I don't have to test that theory. The face shield comes down far enough to protect my eyes while riding. Over all no complaints. Have not worn it for any rides longer than an hour so far, so I can't say anything about all day comfort. I haven't met a helmet yet that is totally comfortable. But this one isn't bad

GREAT HELMET, other than the thick "comfort" strap that protects from t he actual strap. a little awkward but probably can be removed. helmet looks great and works perfectly though!
