This album is a monumental leap forward for Rotting Christ. Every detail – album title, cover artwork, song composition, track flow, lyrics, sonics, production quality – has been meticulously crafted by a band in total control of its art. 'Rituals' is the perfect title. The leitmotifs in tracks like 'Devadevadem' and 'The Four Horsemen' have a hypnotic quality that makes the listener feel part of a ritual. Perhaps that was the band’s intention all along: ritual through music, on a grand scale. A timeless metal masterpiece.Favourite track: Devadevadem – a glorious blend of eastern melodies and dark chants.

Rotting Christ I've listened to from almost the beginning, Rituals is by far in my opinion the BEST album!! Dark and Heavy!!

Rotting christ have delivered in my opinion a metal classic, it's dark atmospheric and real heavy, huge production makes crystal clear sound that takes you on a journey from start to finish.

Rituals is intense, brutal, multi-layered and absolutely marvellous. This is a darkly beautiful album that envelops you in its arcane metal majesty.
