Did it again Jayne Rylon. I loved this book, it is filled with everything to keep the reaser interested, and emotions all over the place. Wren and Jordan have a lot to come back from. Jordan is a great guy that made the biggest mistake of his life. Now is his chance to make it up to Wren. Kason has made his interest in Wren known, and his hidden feelings for Jordan are so hard to ignore. Their journey of self discovery and learning to admit their loveand what they truly desire is an amazing read. A great book that lets the reader visit with the Powertool and Hotrod families again was great. Hotrides is so far an amazing series with characters that are so real and their lives intersect in such a loving family way, that you want to be part of it.

Slow Ride begins with the painful back story for Wren, Johnny, and Jordan then leaps five years in time and picks up with Jordan still working as an ICE agent and Wren working at Hot Rides with Quinn, Derva and Trevon. Wren is starstruck when Kason Cox, Johnny's favourite singer, arrives at Hot Rides with one of his bikes wanting the crew to work their magic on the machine. Kason gives Wren several backstage passes and leaves the bike with the crew. Kason is drawn Wren and uses the pretence of checking on the progress of the bike to visit with her. As a recovering drug and alcohol abuser Kason finds the company of the members of Hot Rides, Hot Rods and Powertools comfortable and supportive. Wren wants to be in a committed relationship with Jordon and Kason but Kason's notoriety is proving a problem and Kason's manager is determined to make sure the trio stays broken.

I could not wait to open this book! I always get excited when Ms Rylon releases a new story. This one is packed full of so many emotions...grief, confusion and denial to name a few. The grief tore Jordan and Wren apart. Will Kason be the missing piece that heals them? Of course, he has is own issues and pressure to deal with. It'll take some help from the Crew to help these three.*I received an Advance Reader's Copy as well as purchasing a physical copy which I am voluntarily reviewing*

Jayne Rylon never disappoints. She writes well developed stories that leave you wanting more. Every single time. Slow Ride is no exception. In this second chance story, we are ripped apart in the best way possible. I love that they found something new and were able to put the past behind them. As always, I loved seeing our favorite Power Tools and Hot Rods. Sally kicks butt as usual, but we see some surprisingly strong advice coming from unusual corners. I say it every time, but Jayne has knocked another out of the park. I am loving the energy and rejuvenation I am seeing in this part of the series whole.

Wren has been angry at Jordan ever since he left her five years ago. Recently they have been in the same place at the same time, because of their association with the Hot Rods. Jordan wants a second chance, but Wren doesn’t want to hear what he has to say. Then they both meet Kason. Kason brings them together, but will he be able to break from the image that he has had to portray to keep them? Will they be able to make it work? Come take a ride and find out. I can’t wait for the next book to see where the author will take us next.

I could not wait to read this book! Mrs. Rylon does an amazing job taking you on a journey of emotions. Love, heartbreak from tragedy, then healing heartache. I cried, smiled, laughed and loved my way through this fabulous story. Smoking hot 🔥sex scenes between lovers are not for the faint of heart, so reader beware. Wren, Jordan, and Kason's story runs the gamut of emotions, but love is worth the fight. Read the book, you won't be disappointed!!

I await anxiously for each new release from Ms. Rylon. The anticipation builds until I am concerned that the new book will not live up to my expectations. She has yet to disappoint me. I absolutely love the whole Power Tools/Hot Rods series and the Hot Rides continues to thrill. I especially enjoyed this book. It was extremely emotional and coincidental and hot!!! It is hard to find strong female lead characters these days and Wren is definitely that. The connections and love just leap off the pages. I will be impatiently waiting for the next in the series.

Love lost and a gap left instead. It's hard to let go of the hurt and make yourself vulnerable again. The memories stop you from trusting and it takes more than most imagine to be able to forgive and believe again. However in this group of people there is always someone available and ready to share the load and give some sound advise. It may not be wanted at times but it all makes sense eventually. Great series - again by a talented author.

As much as i've enjoyed every book in the Hot Rod/Rides world this is my favourite one. This one made me cry so much for the love that was lost and the love that was found. I love every single character & I cant wait to read the next installment...Off to download now!
