Green TouchIndustries Strom 18 Volt Electric Backpack Sprayer

This was my entry into battery operated backpack sprayer market. A week or so after receiving it, I put down a soil conditioner and a weed pre-emergent on my 1.5 acres. I’m surprised by how quiet the operation is and the control this gives you. The battery performance is awesome too! The nozzles aren’t bad, but I wanted a better delivery system so I bought that through a landscaping company. Very impressed with this unit. The wand is a little tight getting it back into it’s holder and likely the source of a few negative comments by people who broke the wand. The quality is good but you just need to be aware and exercise caution when storing the wand. Happy customer!

I started by filling with water and sprayed on marked out driveway to calibrate per 1000 s.f.. Loaded herbicide with a marking dye and made the application, worked to perfection. The sprayer is pretty much a complete set up with 3 nozzles included, the wand is a pressure washer style and is heavier quality than found on most sprayers. I have gone away from dry granular applications (except straight NPK fertilizer) finding liquid applications offer more precise coverage, with the addition of this sprayer, a real time saver!

I bought this product, I believe 2 years ago now, and am overall satisfied. My only issue with this product is that the sprayer wand is now practically fallen apart. I am a licensed technician and maintain my equipment thoroughly. the backpack itself seals great and the battery life is outstanding. I've even gone 20+ tanks on a single charge full spray power. Overall great, wand cheap, just buy and aftermarket wand like a power washer.

After first year of use the tank started splitting at the seam and leaking. After two years the leaks are too bad to use and the straps broke. I definitely don’t recommend this one!

After purchasing I had high expectations for this unit. Initially because of the professional handle and Tips, I thought this would be a more powerful sprayer. I'm reviewing it just below professional grade. While the spray is solid it is not what I would call a powerful stream. But then again for 200.00 dollars what does one expect. It is indeed a good solid unit and will deliver product effectively for small and mid size projects. You might want to consider changing out the tips and finding one that delivers the kind of spray that will work for you. This you will have to do after you get the unit and try it out on your specific purpose. at approx 40- 60 PSI it gets small and mid-size jobs done nicely. Flower beds and general spraying is what this is for. With the 4 gal tank it is just the right size/flow to get 4 gals of product down. I'm ordering a 100psi plus unit for my larger applications. If you need sprayer to spray fungicides, insecticides and liquid fertilizers on flower beds and small med size plants and ground cover this sprayer is perfect. I will say this about the design, It will make you look like a "Storm Trooper" and I say that in a nice way. It is just a nice looking uint, you will not look "dorky" with this back pack on.. Green Touch is also a very good seller and responsive to my contact with the company. For the money it's a good value sprayer. Would recommend. Gman

I have a 1/2 acre lot and I have used hand pump back pack sprayer in the past. This sprayer works well and allowed me to cover the areas quickly. I’ve only run about 20 gallons through the machine but so far seems to work fine.

Solid unit, fantastic battery life, and good variety of nozzle tips for different applications. Great for the home owner or small turf care company. After pumping 56 gallons through a traditional backpack sprayer, I bought this and will never look back. Best invention ever.
