Simple and secure way to store spare keys
This is a nice looking lockbox for a set of keys. They include four screws and anchors if needed so you can secure to almost any surface. I prefer this mounting method versus a pad lock as it feels more flexible to me.Setting a custom combination was simple but did take a little more force than expected. Changing the lock code took just seconds.I attached this to a 2x4 support and it is very secure with the four included screws. Time will tell how it holds up, but I have it mounted in a semi-indoor location so I expect a long life. They do recommend regularly spinning the combo dials to keep them rolling easily.I would buy this again and would recommend to othersPros- Easy to change combination- Easy to mountCons- Nothing yet

Great for securing spare keys etc.
The product itself is really great and solid. Easy to set the passcode. The only thing I changed was too get longer screws to secure it from being easy removed.

Works as advertised
Just installed. Easy installation. Seems to work well. You'll need a flashlight or well lit area after dark to see the combination digits. The tactile feel of the combination wheels is not "crisp". I agree with other reviewers that the screws are flimsy. They have a Philips head and strip easily if a lot of torque is needed to install. If you select the right pilot drill size they should go in okay. I had to experiment a bit and ended up using only 2 of the 4 installation screws. It should enough though.It's clearly not indestructible. Someone could (I think) pretty easily pry it off with a crowbar or smash it with a hammer. If someone wants to break into my house that badly, I'd prefer they use a key anyway rather than break a window or door.

No Batteries Required
I bought a set of these for my house, it's not a great feeling to realize you've locked the house and left your keys inside, so you have to call someone you gave your key to in order to help get back in.These do not use battery, just a manual lock, similar to a bike lock tumbler. This is the main reason I bought these, since I don't have to worry about the batteries failing when I really need my keys!I bought them as gifts for relatives who locked themselves out as well! 😁

This key box operates smoothly and seems fairly sturdy. It is a good quality product and was easy to install.
