Jackson JS Series Dinky JS22 DKAM Red StainI bought this for my son as his starter guitar and it's great! I have been playing since I was a teen in the '80's and to buy a Jackson for under $200. Is amazing. For a beginner it is great. Holds a note has a wammy bar what else could you want 👍

I have always been a fan of Jackson guitars since the 1980's. They were the guitars my idols played. With that in mind, this is not that guitar. It's manufactured in China and cheaply made. I guess i shouldn't expect much for $199, but I do expect it to play without needing to spend money on a fret job. My Epiphone Les Paul special was just as cheap, but played flawlessly in comparison.

It just feels very cheaply made and I was disappointed with the sound. The pickups are very buzzy and it just doesn’t feel like a quality guitar. The finish is nice and visually it looks amazing, but performance just doesn’t live up to what I thought it was. It also doesn’t stay in tune very well. But for a beginner I guess it’s ok.

This is an awesome guitar for the price. Stays in tune, neck is very fast and slim. I prefer a maple fretboard over a rosewood so that is why I went with this model. 3 way switch works as well as the tone and volume knobs.It does its job and I think its a great beginners guitar. I just started playing after not playing for over a decade. If you have extra money, get a good amp and this guitar will pair well and you will not be disappointed

The media could not be loaded.  BEGINNERS WOUNT LOSE MUCH MONEY STARTING OUT ON THIS , THE COST IS LOW FOR A EXCELLENT GUITAR. ONCE YOU TUNE AND STRETCH THE STRINGS IT STAYS IN TUNE, REAL NICE GUITAR, IT'S MY FAVORITE.

first problem is shipping, shouldnt offer faster shipping for an extran $20 if it is going to come in a week after the slower delivery date anyways. second problem is that i was obviously a return that was then shipped out again. rod was wayyyy off, frets are insanely sharp, actually cutting my fingers, palm, and even my thumb. pickups are ok but after hours of set up and reversing the terrible set up the previous owner attempted i wasnt in much of a mood to play.
