Ragnar's Action Encyclopedia of Practical Knowledge and Proven Techniques Paperback – November 1, 1999

This book is useful but not as useful as I had hoped. Probably worth what I paid for it.

This arrived today and it was early and in great condition so the one star. It had a couple useful section other than that a total loss of money. The content did not have what was described in the description for the most part yes an overview of most but not all areas listed. It was a gloss over of some of his works and it was only useful for a few descriptions and a list of other books of use/interest which I'm sure will make all military history/ studies buffs an even bigger target when you attempt to find anything of interest out of this book to read further about..oh well be of good company our founding fathers were on lists too. But this book is not a good buy however his original works are good for the most part.

Just skimmed through the book at this point, was please to see the various content.

Classic Ragnar.If you ever thought of what to do in an emergency, or want to be prepared, Ragnar is the man. He has a simple way of telling it straight and to the point. Don't know if I will ever be that extreme, but the information he shares will not be found elsewhere.

Like to finish reading things before I review them. Ragnar never fails to meet my expectations. He is a detailed and knowledgeable writer.Is an interesting book and has material on several areas that I was short on information on. Received my book in a very timely manner and was treated well by Amazon. Thanks.

it's a collection of his book, might be dated, but knowledge is knowledge

I was hoping for alot more detail. Some things were covered adequately however other topics were barely covered. Either way, both volumes are a good read for the adventurer, but just know that certain books shouldn't be cut down.

This is an interesting read but it doesn't much how to as it does what is kind of information. Do not count on this for a lot of information.

This book is a great gift for the outdoor action man type. Full of survival skills.An appreciacted gift for a "difficult to buy".

Great conversation piece.
