I love that Amazon has Japanese language textbooks and reading materials available for purchase. If you need English-language directions, you'll have a barrier. Otherwise, great guide for the JLPT.

What I wanted.

I’m trying to practice for the JLPT test, so naturally i saw this and got excited! However, it advertised the book as being written in English. Unless I got the wrong book by mistake, there isn’t a single english word in here. I’ll have to have someone help me translate in that case since i wanted to buy this to practice learning characters/stroke order, but other than that, it seems legit! It’s set up exactly like the exam book should be!

You should know that the entire book is in Japanese, so it's not recommended for complete beginners. The book's sole purpose is to get a direct taste of the real exam and find your weakest points. By taking the practice test you will know which skills need more attention so you can successfully pass N5.Positive things:- You can get a real feeling of the exam, covers every skills.- Comes with an audio CD!- It's affordable, cheap, worldwide shipping.Negative things:- The actual exams are slightly harder.

This helped me prepare for the 2021 JLPT! The format is what you see on the test, so I didn't have to struggle understanding the portions of the actual test! Highly recommend to those preparing for the JLPT!
