Sounds like a jet engine
Worked for the 10 minutes I could stand to have it on but, but it was crazy loud. I can't use it in my lab because it is too distracting. They must have put the noisiest cheapest fan on this thing.

I got a faulty one.
It’s not really fair of me to review this yet because the unit I received was faulty and Amazon is sending a replacement. It might be 1 in 10,000 chance I got a bad one, who knows? If the replacement works like it’s supposed to I’ll be a happy camper and would likely recommend this 48v power supply to anyone that needs it. We’ll see...

Short lived. Doesn't last
I've ordered this unit less then a month ago. Unit has already failed and stoped producing power after a few uses. I have not opened it up yet to see the failure. Will post pics once opened.

It worked great for 2 days then quit
It did work great then it just quit still waiting to find out ifs going to get replaced or not. It's been over a week now and no answer. I would recommend that nobody buys this product. Customer service is absolute garbage there is none

Quality product (noisy fan)
This is a nice power supply with name brand components Nichicon and Nippon Chemicon capacitors inside. The fan that comes with it is annoyingly LOUD I bought a 60x60x25mm Noise Blocker silent fan and installed it for 10 bucks and this power supply is a beast and quiet now and does not overheat. Wish they would use quiet fans in these things from the start but no they have to use ones that are cheap and sound like mini gas turbine engines!!! Grr! Other than that great power supply.

Completely unacceptable and rude.
Horrible condition. Both the shipping box and power supply box were in perfect condition but the power supply was dirty, scratched, dented and didn’t even work. Thanks a lot to whoever thought this was acceptable just to take my hard earned money.

Loud fan
Works but the fan is always on and it is loud

Good Unit
Im using this to power a dc car audio system in the house. it's hooked to 2 1000w amps. Only problem for me was the terminals were a bit small for the amplifier wires. Just had to crimp on some different ends. Been working well for 8 weeks now. The cooling fan is loud, but my sound system is much louder!
