So I was trying to make my backyard porch into a mini-movie theater. I have a pulldown white screen and wanted a small, affordable projector to light it up. I bought four different $100-ish projectors (because I'm cheap) to test before moving up to the $300 range. The first three were borderline terrible. They were all "portable" projectors, and all very similar to the other models in this range. One thing I learned---"Lux" is a meaningless term and is attempted to be synonymous/interchangeable with "Lumens"---Ignore "Lux" completely. Lumens are what you're after in a dark environment. The brightness is what allows you to see the images well enough to enjoy them.After returning three projectors, I tried this one based on the 2600 Lumens claim (though the truth behind that number was debatable even in the comments from the business itself). I tried this one, and while it's very similar to the others in terms of platform, it WAY outperforms them in image and brightness. Basically, you can see with this one. You're not going to get movie theater performance out of a $100 projector, and if you think you are you're setting yourself up for disappointment. What you will get from this is a more than passable projector that lets you watch movies outside or in a dark room. Most of the images look a little washed-out, faded, almost like all of the scenes take place at sunset. But for the price, you will not beat this projector---or at least I wasn't willing to buy and return four more to find out. Hope that helps.

The product is above average. The projection from my laptop was above average but the plus is that the distance from my wall is about 35 feet and the project put up a very big display.Underwhelming points:1-No WIFI - remove this false advertising.2-Provide your own HDMI cable, I had a spare HDMI cable.3-Provide your own iPhone or Android cable to USB. This feature is very suspect. I connected my iPhone using my lightning jack cable and it shows YouTube decent. AppleTV-no-go. Amazon prime video-no-go.4-Provide your own AAA batteries5-The stand to elevate the projector is short. Supply your own books to elevate the angle of the projector.I'll keep it because I need something to project our family/group workouts on the wall. I'll keep it also because I do not have the patience to go through the return process.Take away message - Remove the Wifi feature, it does not exist on this projector.

It is the best item that I've ever paid arround $100. You won't regret to spend your money for this projector if you are a movie lover.I used to love to go to theater to see movies but as you know, lately I don't go to the theater.Even thought I have pretty big TV, I alway wanted to see movies in a huge screen.This projector is the best item for staying home.The quality of the image is very nice. I did not expect good picture quality because I don't have a projector screen. So I project onto a white wall. The wall is not perfectly even nor clean white, but I don't have any problem with image quality. It's great!The fan's noise doesn't bother me, but if you connect to home theather sound system you will enjoy and immerse your self in movies even more.I did not expect much, but this made me suprisingly satisfied. It shipped in a safe box wih cables and remote controler.I highly recommend this video projector.

I bought this for a home entertainment room. This projector will not play Netflix, prime video, YouTube or itunes movies from your PHONE. You hAve Apple TV (or equivalent)or connect to DVD player. It will play any short video, movie clip or YouTube short videos. so my rating reflects my immense disappointment in the lack of movie playing ability from a phone or tablet device. Once I got the DVD connected it worked as expected. I recommend blue ray over standard DVD’s for the picture quality.You will also need a better speaker. For a large group you need to connect a better quality speaker so all can hear. I am still working on improving that functionality.Menus response on the projector is a little wonky to get it to wake up from being off.I am considering upgrading to a higher quality projector that may have more features.

I was so excited to open my projector that my wife got me for my birthday. I got it set up in my room and turned it on. The WiFi does not connect. None of my devices will connect to the projector through the WiFi. I can select it but it never connects. I could probably deal with that. But no the picture is crooked. I had to put a cd under one end to make the picture level with the floor and ceiling. Without it we would have to lean our heads for a straight picture. The left side of the picture is so so blurry. The right side is perfectly clear. No amount of moving the projector closer, rotating the 2 wheels and/or adjusting the settings made a bit of difference. Do not waste your money. I will be returning this projector immediately. Such a disappointment.

The media could not be loaded. This projector advertises as being good for movie watching but I was pleasantly surprised that it worked for my presentations that included text. At first I used the vga plug and an old laptop and things were meh. But then I changed it to HDMI and it was a great difference. The text was clear. Video is really great and the sound automatically turns on when plugged in.I projected this from a little over 9 feet which created about a 7 foot wide projected image That was bright. There is a little 2” stand that you can pop out. When I use this at far distances I sit it on a pedestal so it can be higher up. It shows for changing the aspect ratio 16:9 and 4:3.This was a very easy set up. I didn’t need to read the instructions because it was very intuitive.
