NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Pore Filler Blurring Primer, Vegan Face Primer

I am a 39 year old male who uses this on their nose every morning after a shower. The reason why I wanted to try this out was to see how much it could help with “closing” pours and preventing breakouts. I do not use any other “acne” product. As a teenager and even through my 30s, I have struggled with random nose/bridge breakouts despite adhering to a $200+ skin routine.I have been using this product every day for for over two years now, and I have found this helps with the following:1) hides the imperfections and levels out your skin evenly on your nose without leaving a greasy or caked feel - such a game changer with this “even” look - important to me as a guy and gives you confidence over teenage acne pitting. I’ve been told my skin has a glow - like as if you take care of yourself!2) most definitely prevents your pores from becoming clogged or inflamed. If you are used to experiencing a breakout or so about once a month like I did, this will cut that down to 1-2 smaller breakouts for your entire year. Incredible trade-off.3) product lasts round 10-12 months if you are using it every day (you don’t need a lot to achieve the desired results). Tip - go easy on the bottle when squeezing out as the product can kind of pop out faster than you would want it to - to avoid this, I just keep my finger close to the applicator end so that when the product releases, it goes on my finger and not in my sink and down the drain!It is hard to believe I haven’t been using this product all my life, as it could have saved me so much time and heartache over red splotchy terribleness through my late twenties/early thirties.I am sure this works just fine for the ladies, but for men out there needing something discreet, clean and easy to use, do yourself a favor and get this. I have been purchasing this for several years. It is clumpy and dry but always gave a good base to prime for my foundation or powder. However, the last tube I purchased was mostly filled with air. I could literally press the tube and nothing comes out unless I squeeze it all the way up. So basically no product inside. It is not cheap so I was definitely ripped off.Update: Still by far the best pore filler out there. I have tried many. I tried so many others because I was bothered that you get so little product in the tube now and I like to use it everyday because it completely Smooths out my skin and keeps my makeup looking fresh all day. But nothing has compared to it. I tend to have oily skin and this mattifies it and evens out my skin so beautifully. I just wish they gave you more product and that it didn't come out in little clumps.

As soon as you start to read the reviews for this product, change the way they show you the reviews from "Top-Rated" to "Most Recent". If you don't, the first comments are from 2018 - a time when this product was the bomb-diggity! Unfortunately, the product has gone downhill. And I mean WAY downhill...So, I purchased this product in July of 2019. It was flawless in every way known! I loved this stuff and shared it with my daughter's teenage friends. I used this miracle powdery substance every day! And eventually, I ran out. So, I purchased more in July of 2021 and I was excited to use it again. I really loved this stuff!It arrived in the mail and I opened it up and went straight to the mirror to put this glorious product on my face. I squeezed the tube and nothing came out at first so I shook it up. I tried again and it kinda 'coughed' out some of whatever was in this tube and it was a mess in my hand, like an explosion of soft dirt. I was perplexed so I tried it again and well... not only was it all over my hands, it was on my mirror, my makeup table, my shirt, my hair, on the floor, and even some on my dog! I was like - ok, this is a messed up order. Always giving the benefit of the doubt, I order more. Well, nothing changed and I have no idea what happened to the previous product but this ain't it!!I feel like they put out this fantastic product and when it became popular, they trimmed their ingredients list down to get a higher return. The ole bait and switch routine. I see all the other comments and they are just like mine with the same experience. I purchased the last container in September of 2021 so now that it is May of 2022, I feel they have had ample time to fix this issue. I will not purchase it again, ever.

This is a keeper for me. Works better than a much more expensive brand.May take experimenting with application to find the best method if you don't like it on the first try. Before or after moisturizer, before or after sunscreen or makeup, or sandwiched between these various products with powder last. Il

Excellent, easy-to-apply coverage for pores. Great price. Texture creamy, so goes on smoothly.

Didn’t notice a huge difference in skin texture

This is my constitutionally protected opinion of NYX cosmetics. BUY THEM. I have yet to find any other primer that does what this claims to do. It is called PORE FILLER for a reason. Now, if you have a little bit of a patience deficiency, it might be a bit of a challenge at first to use this wonderful primer. It can have a mind of its own before you ever get a chance to get it on your face. I recommend getting it out of the tube in a controlled environment. Meaning: squeeze it out of the tube onto your fingers while blocking any path it has for flight. Seriously, you’ll thank me. But absolutely recommend!!!

Ineffective. Doesn’t even come close to covering pores. Very little product in the tube. Waste of money.
