Midwife Recommended
I had no issues taking this product. My midwife recommended taking this towards the end of my pregnancy, so I did as she advised. It doesn't taste like pine, and it's easy to swallow. No side effects for me. Lasts about a month depending on the bottle size and how many you take. I've purchased for 2 pregnancies and would again, if she advises in the future. NOW is supposed to be a good quality brand, and the price is good for a supplement.

Part of an effective plan for me
I've been using this for year and a half as part of blood thinning plan with natokinease plus caocoa and NAC and pomegranite juice and Himalaya ayurvedic remedy to replace prescription blood thinners and asipirin along with changing my diet - eliminating transfats, gluten, cake, ice cream, donuts, potatoe chips et. al. Easting lots of sweet potatoes, bok choy, spinach, beans. Lost thirty pounds without trying. Works for me. I'm good after heart attack and stent. No symptoms. Blood work good. This is part of solution. Since I'm doing whole bunch of things, there's no proof that this was key. Clinical stuff I've read suggests it's part of an effective plan to eliminate peripheral blood clots. But I'm no doc.Yu have to find your own path and tursted clinician.

Good value, trusted brand, might want a higher dose
Kind of a small dose but for the price it's good. I just take 2 doses at one time.I haven't noticed any specific effects per se but I believe it's doing its job and is part of a healthy diet and exercise routine.

Works well
I take with some other supplements to lower BP and heart rate. It has a blood thinning effect like aspirin but is not as hard on your stomach.

Great for people with frequent infections
If you are subject to frequent shallow-tissue infections like UTIs and ear infections, this stuff will help you fight against them. It won't do all the heavy lifting, but it does help you be slightly less prone to them.
