We had this style for years and loved it. For the last year after it quit working, we used a pod machine but it just wasn't the same quality of coffee. We found the Cuisinart style again and are so happy with it. Just like having an old friend back!As far as the leakage is concerned, the condensate from the lid runs down the back of the machine when you raise the lid and into the drip tray. Unfortunately the design does not catch it all but is easily cleaned up. It happened with our previous machine and happens with this one too. It would be nice if the design was corrected .

This is the best coffee machine ever. It is so easy to use. Cruisnart should have never quit making it

11/9/2022 Update - the seller will not replace/refund the unit, and has referred me to Cuisinart. Cuisinart will not provide a refund, which is not satisfactory to me because I do not want another of these units under the circumstances. Very disappointing customer service both from seller and manufacturer...11/8/2022 - I have owned two of these over the last 4 years. When the first one started leaking coffee all over the place (the seal on the inside seems to have given way), I attributed it to bad luck, and bought another given the overall positive reviews.Now, it has happened again with the replacement unit I bought, less than two years later. I maintain the coffeemaker routinely, so given that I can only conclude that the design/materials used in making it are subpar. Given the price, I expect to get a minimum of 4-5 years of use at least - I have a message into Cuisinart (no response yet) and will be looking to get a refund so I can buy a different brand.

Bought this for my wife who is an avid coffee drinker. She loves it! I only gave 4 stars, programming "knob" seems little flimsy and worried it will wear out before the coffee maker itself does. Enjoy it!!

Amazon is the only place to find this coffee maker. We have been using this exact one for atleast ten years. Best coffee maker and the only one my wife will use.

nothing not to like....no leaks. Cost a little more than others but well worth it. I bought two other brew stations made by another company and they leaked and were a mess. I prefer no coffee pot. I have owned this since 1 AUG 2021 and make 12 cups a day...and today the clean light came on...got to run some vinegar and change filter. It's well made. If you like a brew station with no pot this is the one to get

We love this model - this is our third one. No carafe to worry about breaking. Timer included, so coffee is ready when we wake up in the morning.
