Was a pretty easy replacement of wheels, but did need gloves and a small hacksaw to cut through the axle of the old wheels on my luggage. These seem pretty heavy duty and smooth. The old wheels on my luggage had no bearings, so this was a good upgrade. Fast delivery, and the screw did indeed have a bit of blue threadlock to keep them from loosening. Replaced all four wheels in about 15 minutes. As someone who likes to repair rather than throw away, I found this product satisfying!!!

The media could not be loaded. This set is the perfect solution to bring your bag back to life! The wheels are well made and come with bearings which make them much smoother and more durable than the originals... The hardest part is cutting off the old axles - luckily I had access to a drill press which made installation a breeze. The steps I followed are: remove the wheel assemblies from the bag... this is optional but it makes everything a lot easier... drill out the old axles... this is very easy but needs to be gentle so you don't damage the plastic part... push the old axle out with an awl or screwdriver... install the new wheels... tip: it's important that the side of the bearings is tight against the wall of the wheel assembly; otherwise the bearing will spin on the axle and not do its job. I put washers on both ends to make sure the bearing where tight. Install the new axle bolts... Tip: The bolts come with a blue mark on them which is a glue called "thread lock" to prevent the bolt from loosening... I added some more of this glue but I guess this is optional too. Thread lock is expensive but any glue should help to keep them tight... and finally reinstalled the wheel assemblies and bingo... my bag rolls much better than new!... The kit came with two different sizes of axles, 8 bolts, 12 washers, and a couple of allen keys to make installation easy... I was lucky to have access to a drill press but if you don’t have one don’t be discouraged... this is a job well worth the effort. In my case I save my bag for which I paid good money.. Excellent replacement wheels for Samsonite roller bag. Two on my wheels had broken bearings and the bag was unusable. Followed instructions and replaced both wheels. New wheels are better than the OEM wheels. Steel bearings throughout, solid wheels, and multiple screws lengths and washers along with two Allen wrenches made the repair easy. Rolls like a champ now and got new life for this bag. Hardest part is removing the old ones. Found using a hacksaw and cutting the pins was better than drilling it out. Just be careful not to damage the roller base.

I purchased these to replace the wheel on an older Samsonite under seat carry on. There was nothing wrong with the luggage, just needed to replace the wheels. The size is perfect, an exact match for the original wheels.Taking the old wheels off took some time, patients and a drill. Once they were off, the new wheels were easy to put on. My only issue, and a very minor issue, is that the covers for the wheel axles do not fit back on. The new screw heads for the axles are a little too big for the covers to fit. It does not impact the functionality of the wheels of the luggage, just the look.I have not used the luggage yet for travel, but pulling it around the house, it looks like the new wheels will stay in place without falling off.

Works as expected and easy install. This is my second replacement wheels. 1st replacement eventually broke the outer rings on all four wheels. These new wheel appear to be softer material like a scooter wheel. Hopefully these can handle many bumps.

I ordered these as replacement wheels for a large Samsonite suitcase. The seller offered several sizes and exact measurements, so I received exactly the right ones. I needed to cut each of the old wheels' axles. This was the hardest part for my bag as the axles were pressed together (one could use a Dremel or other type cut off tool or a hacksaw). I cut away some of the damaged rubber on the original wheels and used some pliers to hold them while I cut them. Other bags might be easier depending on the axle. The new axles were included and both they and the new wheels fit perfectly. I do not know how long these will last but they seem very sturdy. They will be easy to replace in the future as the replacement axles screw together/apart. My bag works and looks like new for a very reasonable price.

Replaced my Samsonite Omni 24” checked bag wheels with these. They are a tad bit too wide, but I managed to get them in. Removing the old wheels (rivets) was super easy with a drill and a drill bit that fit inside the rivet. All I did was place the bag while the wheel towards the ground and drilled the rivet out at an angle, to where the drill bit was basically only hitting the side of the rivet. After about 20 seconds, the rivet broke and I could remove the wheel. Replacing it with the new wheel was easy, gently just prying on the outside of the bracket and then screwed the wheel on. It rolls super smooth and saved me about $140 in buying a new bag. Great!
