People do not recognize me, I have changed so much. They recognize my voice. Losing 60 pounds over about three years with very little sag and I am 61 years old. Two months ago when I decided I am at the weight best for me, I bought this book and I went into maintenance. Then changes really started in how I look. Now my stomach and arm wings are firmer than ever - no surgery needed.

WISH I HAD KNOW THIS INFORMATION SOONER!
The Teta brothers are so on target. I've been following their plan of eliminiating sugar and dry carbs from my diet over 2 months, wasn't hungry, eat better than ever with fresh fruits, vegetables and protein and have lost a little over 29 pounds. My husband has also lost about 28 pounds. We haven't had to spend hours at the gym to achieve this either. I have sent this out on my facebook page telling everyone about it. I'm looking forward to having my blood tests in 1 week and we're hoping that my husband may be able to go off his Cholesterol meds!

Calories in/calories out is only 50% of the weight loss equation
Awesome advice that helps you keep from stressing your metabolism while losing weight. You can tailor his protocols to any diet...you just listen to your body and find out what works for you. Sounds simple...too simple...it's not a gimmick so lots of people don't trust it at first, but it works. I've lost 20 pounds so far and become less "apple shaped" while maintaining healthy energy levels and gaining muscle. I've suffered from a lot of hormone problems so this is quite a feat for me. I can't wait to lose the next 20!

Metabolism is the secret.
The 20 lbs that I had put on were from emotional eating and filling not my physical body, but my emotional need. I'm learning to read my body signals and ask it questions. How is my hunger level, how is my energy level, do I have my cravings under control. I feel great and I'm down 5 lbs.

One Smart Guy
I have followed Jade Teta for years and he is ONE smart guy! I have done his home video program called Metabolic Aftershock and it it magic! Pure genius! One of the best workouts I have EVER done and his theories on exercise science and eating are spot on. Great book!

Loved this book
Loved this book. It explains so much. Dr.'s Teta have given us the information we were lacking and it has really helped my outlook and methods. Learning to "feel" in balance has taught me the secrets of a healthy hormonal system in regards to weight management. I know if I'm balanced just by the way I feel. Thanks guys!

Very sensical
I've been following Cut the Fat Podcasts and needs to tweak my diet. So I bought this book finally. It siracha creation spelling it all out and correcting the CICOmentality. If you want to be healthy and logical get this book. If you want your HEC to stay unchecked. Don't.

How to starve yourself and low carb.
The beginning of the book is a little boring but it did explain about hormones so I thought it might have something. Sadly after reading on I realised what rubbish this was. Protein shake for breakfast, protein shake for lunch and protein, non starchy veg, and half a cup of rice for dinner. Not for me. He then wants you to walkabout 1 - 2 hours a day Weight training 3 times a week and this is the non exercise part of the diet. Now I don’t doubt you will lose weight but you might lose the will to live on this. Also none of the links in the kindle version link to anything plus the web page doesn’t exist when manually put in.

Sensible advice for weight loss.
Wade through the usual diet book waffle and you will find good common sense nutritional advice on weight loss. I like that they aren't fans of exhaust yourself with loads of exercise then fall off the wagon into a vat of nachos! Gentle exercise whilst focusing on getting your eating under control. Good book

The last 'diet' book you need to buy.....
I was lucky enough to be one of the testers for this book this time last year. It changed the way I look at diet and exercise and most significantly allowed to me to lose the last 20lbs I had been unable to shift for years. If like me you feel like you are doing everything right but are stuck, buy this book! Is it easy? No. Does it work? Yes!

Makes total sense
A great read, fascinating, and easy to follow and most importantly takes into account that we are all individuals and need to do some detective work of our own.

Fantastic Read to understand metabolism
Great book that explains about becoming a diet detective. We are all individuals and not one size fits all. If you want to find out your own lifestyle changes then read this book.
