Truly an upgrade!
I wasn't sure what to expect, but was honestly shocked at how much better my PS2 games look! Goes to show that the PS2 was ahead of its time graphically, but was being held back by the low screen quality of tube televisions and RCA cables. The clarity is very much improved, and the textures are so much more vivid. Games may still be limited by the graphics of the time, but this definitely breathed new life into my PS2 collection! The first SSX game especially looks incredible compared to before, it's amazing how good it looks for having been released back in 2000. Also the audio sounds as great as ever, and I have a very high fidelity audio setup with huge speakers. Overall I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to improve their PS2 setup!

Good product, excellent customer service
The adapter works great - I’ve been dying to play Fight Night 2004 again after all these years, and now I can thanks to Level Hike.I had to contact customer service for support and they were very responsive and resolved my issue extremely quickly. The adapter seems reasonably durable. It’s great to be able to connect via HDMI for better video quality and simpler connection. I couldn’t be happier.

Excellent adapter all around.
This adapter has breathed new life for my collection. I've never experienced my games with this resolution. The adapter box may get hot after a while, but it still performs in superb functionality. I highly recommend if you are seeking an outlet with great visuals for your older games. Even the audio panning is beautifully executed!

Doesn't work properly on Sony TV
The media could not be loaded. I bought this hdmi converter to use on my Sony TV since it's in my bedroom. It unfortunately looked weird (as seen on the images how the left is stretched over to the right). The image is also unstable (constantly shaking left and right) as well as the controller feeling slightly delayed at times. I could never figure out the fix, or why it was like this, so I gave up. I emailed levelhike too, and they were very friendly about it, but they also haven't gotten back to me with a definitive answer as to why it doesn't work properly for my Sony TV. I've seen another review on Amazon (as well as a few comments on youtube) that this hdmi also didn't work properly for their Sony TVs and it's just strange and frustrating. Anyway, I have a Samsung TV in the living room so I decided I might as well try it out there. Turns out it worked perfectly fine on that TV. Absolutely no issues with the image, and the controller feels more responsive. I feel like it even looked sharper/more clear too. For some reason, it looked a little off and blurry on my Sony but again I don't know why. Maybe the other brand, Hyperkin, might work better with Sony TVs but I don't know as I have yet to try it out. I gave this 4 stars because of how great it was to finally play my PS2 again after many years in storage. I really want to give it 5 stars, but since it doesn't work on my Sony TV, and since levelhike hasn't emailed me back with an answer to my question (I asked if they thought it was Sony themselves that lacked support for these types of cables) then I just have to give it 4 stars. I'll try to update my review if they ever get back to me about what they think as it seems like an ongoing issue. But I will say that I actually bought their other hdmi converter for Gamecube, and it surprisingly worked pretty good on my Sony TV. The image quality was a little worse than PS2 (to be expected) but I had no issues at all with that one.Edit: I tried the other brand, Hyperkin, but it unfortunately had the exact same issues. I will say that maybe Hyperkin looked slightly sharper with the image compared to Levelhike, but the only drawback is that you can't use your own Hdmi to plug into, it already comes with one and it's a medium size in case anyone wanted to get one.

Great picture; solved brightness and color issues as compared to other converters!
I've tried a number of HDMI converters for my PS2, but this is by far the best quality output. Not dark, true colors, and no apparent lag like the other converters I've gotten. Works great on my 4K tv. Did boot up with the green screen like others have described, but item comes with a little tutorial on how to fix it, which is super easy. Absolutely recommend this to people who have had any trouble with the picture quality on other converters!

My PS1 is back to live!
The quality of this product is excellent.Although the box arrived damaged due to Amazon delivery, the contents were intact and fully functional. I tested both 1080p and older 480p content, and the image quality is smooth and impressive across the board.I will test the device for a couple of weeks, and come back for a review update.Overall, it's a great product—I’m very satisfied and would definitely recommend it.
