100% Works with older RS232 9 pin equipment
Absolutely brilliant. Worked 1st time with my older RS232 9 pin serial equipment, where nothing else would. I only ever could get my various instruments working with a real PCI PC card. Now i can use a USB Windows 10 laptop. Most excellent!

A perfect USB serial port.
Bought to use with UPURS to transfer data from a BBC Microcomputer as the FTDI chipset is recommended. What can I say, it installed on Windows 10 instantly and works perfectly. Will buy another when I need one.

This works with no issues one you have installed the driver. Much more reliable than others that I have used previously.

The real deal
Yes it's a bit pricey for a USB-RS232 cable compared to the other options on Amazon but if you've got some old & awkward equipment that really needs proper RS232 to work then this is your answer. If you've already tried a bunch of cheap cables and given up because they didn't work, you've come to the right place.

It works!
Works exactly as required straight out of the box. I've always had more success with the FTDI chipset (as opposed to Prolific) and this product is no exception.
