By Far one of the best cases I have ever seen
I have seen and bought many cases for my original kindle fire that I had and all of them were just alright to me. I recently upgraded to the hd 7" and went shopping for a case. I came across this case that had the best reviews and oh boy i was pleasantly surprised at how AWESOME this case is. I rarely ever do a review on a product and usually it's a negative one, however, this case is a must have! Yes it is a bit bulkier then a lot of other cases because it provides extra padding for extra protection. This extra padding makes me honestly feel like i could thrown this thing and not have any problem! all the cutouts are in the right place and does not cover the camera at all. The 360 feature literally turns 360 degrees with ease but not too much that it keeps moving. This may change after a lot of use but it seems very sturdy to me. It feels like I paid top price for this case! Even my husband was thoroughly impressed enough to email the company and try and get them to do a samsung galaxy tab 2 case. OK so the best thing about this case....It has a magnetic closure that is very hard to find on 360 cases. Most have the awful elastic closure that wears out and stretches but not this one! The wake/sleep feature works flawlessly and very quick..it is on before i can even see my screen and ready to use and off instantly as well. Also, The stand is flawless as well. The way this case is designed and weighted it actually works in the upright vertical position and does not tip over!!!!! Also this case is so well designed i can actually run my kindle in horizontal mode while plugged in and charging as well!! Most cases limited capabilities to use it standing and plugged in at the same time because the connection for charging is on the bottom. I will never look elsewhere for another case ever!! It is so well planned, weighted, and built with quality I have yet to see!!!

Very good case for Kindle Fire hd
I read all the reviews and took forever to choose a case but I finally ordered this one. I chose this one because the kindle slides in and protects the screen instead of clipping or snapping in like some of the others. I like how it rotates easily and can sit in my lap instead of on a table and has a sleep/wake function. The color is a brighter shade of red. The cons to this case are that the Kindle goes in and the camera is at the bottom so if you have a game or want to skype you have to turn it to where it is on the top which is not big deal since it rotates but you have to remember that it cannot close that way. The magnets are on the opposite side of where the camera is which is not a problem to me. It is made this way so you can charge your kindle while the case is closed. I do wish that they had put an elastic band to keep it held closed which would make me feel a little more secure. If you like more details, it has two viewing angles, a soft interior, no band to hold a stylus, and all of the holes on the sides are correct. Otherwise, it is a nice case with a little bit of texture, it is functional, and keeps the Kindle safe which is important!

Terrible, blocks all the buttons you need
Bought this for my son's Kindle and he hates it to the point where I found it under the couch the other day. Will have to buy a new one. It's just awkward and the holes for the buttons are too small and misaligned.

Not Very Flexible
The feature that I was really looking forward to was the ability to spin the device within the cover to adjust for whatever view mode made the most sense. While the cover is clearly very durable, it was not flexible - making spinning the device not really an option. I'm fine with just turning it in the cover itself, but I could have purchased a cheaper cover without that "feature."

Works very well
I must say that the cover does exactly what it promised to do. It makes the Kindle a little thick when you when you're holding it in your hand, but when you set it up on a desktop it works well.

Highly Recommend for Good Quality and Durability
When I replaced my Kindle Fire with the Kindle Fire HD, I had previously owned a Black Leather M-Edge Case and was very happy with it. I initially was looking for the great quality Black Leather Case I had previously owned and was used to, needless to say I was unable to locate the M-Edge brand for the Kindle Fire HD, that mind you I paid well over $46.00 for when I previously purchased it for the Kindle Fire. Therefore, I had no choice but to search out a different brand name case, I must say, since I purchased the Dante 360 online I was crossing my fingers, being that I paid 1/2 the cost I paid for the previous M-Edge Case. Although, I must say, the Dante does the M-Edge justice an then some. I am very particular about quality and durability and willing to pay top dollar to know it is going to withstand lots of handling and in the long run lasting me much longer than going through several cheaper case covers. Not only is it durable, It's magenetic closure allows for it to automatically turn on/off upon opening and closing, the 360 swivel is great and was not a previous option when I owned the Kindle Fire, because for us Kindle enthusiasts, we have all known that particular app that only works in portrait view and not landscape, well now you can handle portrait view without the awkwardness. The Dante 360 is definitely a great item and the price is right. I would highly recommend this item to all and even the weary purchaser, you undoubtedly will get your moneys worth before you would have to replace it.

Nice, but could be better.
I like this case, but there are 2 main flaws I found in the design as soon as I put my kindle in the case.1) The magnets should be on the same side as the divot where the camera is at on the device.2) You cannot close the case and let the magnets snap it shut simply by releasing the lid and letting it drop down. The cushion in the front flap prevents it from closing and gives a fulcrum-like effect. You must press down on the cover and make sure the magnets are lined up or else the lid will not shut. You can see exactly what I mean if you watch my video on YouTube. It is in part 2 of my unboxing video:[...]Great case though!PS. It can also be tricky at first to figure out how you can fold the front behind the kindle. It folds at the crease right by the rivet/swivel and then again in the main fold of the case. Almost giving a "Z" fold effect to the case.
