Smart and smooth operating shower.A couple of minor niggles makes it a solid 4 star item rather than 5.The water temperature adjustment is a little over sensitive... It only takes a small movement of the lever to affect the temperature from cold to hot but becomes more easy to control once you get used to it.Only criticisms are the preset maximum temperature for the hot water doesn't feel hot enough and instructions to alter this are very poor.. We have not been able to sort this ourselves but don't want to call the plumber back for what should be a very simple DIY job.The Stop position for the water flow is vague. There's no actual hard stop, like when turning a tap off... We have found that turning the lever to the 5 O Clock position is where the water flow shuts off but it would be better if there was a positive point where the lever will not go past so it feels fully off.It's a great quality shower and it was discounted on Amazon which made it an excellent buy.It was easily fitted by our plumber in a morning's work.Our shower is fitted to a combi boiler.Pleased with the product and would recommend

Just what I wanted.

Within 12 months it went really stiff and was worried about pulling it of the wall to turn off. Cleaned it twice but returned it in the end. Spent a bit more on another Bristan because they have a no quibble policy.

Bought to replace a Sirrus ts1850 shower with 138 mm pipe centres. Only issue I had was getting the backing plate dead Center between the inlet pipes. You have to be very precise in your measurements. Shower works great so very pleased.Update - had the shower in daily use for a month now. On off lever becoming stiff and temperature control loose and wobbly. I removed it as instructed to set the maximum temperature. The instructions don’t tell you about the grub screw that has to be removed in the temperature control lever. Factory settings only provide luke warm water. Temp control was reinstalled but cannot stop the wobble. Temp control also seems to bypass the Max temp setting so I now need to be careful I don’t inadvertently knock it while showering and get scalded.Further update. Have to turn it really hard to switch off otherwise constant dripping. Only way I can stop this is with a second valve at the shower head handle. Considering the cost of this mixer valve not happy with its performance and it’s only going to get worse.
